Dave*
Camber on a 171 atv, that I can easily answer. just placed on kitchen floor and measured to highest point off the floor, ( I am assuming only one way to measure camber) I got approx 16 mm or 1.6cm of camber on a board with approx 20-25 days riding with a BFG ( big fat guy) on it. hope that helps Dave* ps: my atv was stiffened over stock flex but I think would come out of press with same camber built in. Bullwings
awesome, thanks dave* i now have a new rock board unless i can find some magical spray to restore camber...
D-Sub
the board I have is technically not an ATV. Its about 3 years old and the dude I got it from had it built custom. I %!#!@# love it though. guess the camber question was already answered, right?
Bullwings
:lol:  all good, when i say gear abuser, i don't mean it in a negative way. i correlate gear abuse with riding hard (for the most part). and based on the stories attached to each of them, it sure seems like hard riding :biggthump i kind of wish i broke gear that way, just not that often... and yeah, the camber question was answered. mine definitely doesn't have 15-16mm, more like 6-7mm
lonerider
Guess I don't want it. Not enough taper for me.How much taper was on that WCR you rode into the ground? I thought they only had like 1-2mm of taper.
lonerider
No past tense here, I am riding it into the ground. I still use it as my everyday board. Oh, I recall you posting a RIP thread about the WCR because you ran into a rock (just like the recent demise of your Tanker) And I love it, but for pow boards especially I love taper. Heck, it's another reason why I prefer the metal priors over the regular ones: more taper. Taper taper taper. I love taper. Welcome to the club, I remember talking about the Fish (4cm of taper) and you saying how you ride you WCR in all conditions, including powder.
