I think they really are onto something there.At first I thought it was a gimmick but it allows you to get the same edge grip as a narrow waisted stiff race board, but still enjoy the soft booter relaxed ride. Using Catek Freerides with Malamutes.....The board I demoed was a little soft in the nose but they make a stiffer model I couldnt get called the "dark" series that they tweaked the grain in opposing directions to stiffen it up. One thing for sure Catek Freerides really are worth the dough. Some guy from Pittsburgh stopped to ask about them.If you guys have any laying around you want to sell ..Please post them on the FOR SALE section......dissapointing weather here in Erie, PA.
