snowboardfast
Any one ridden a Goltes board available on the Upz site? I was interested in the return to use as an all around board. They are cheap only 299.00 as oposed to a Prior 4x4 at 700.00.
BlueB
That's the cheepest one, right? I didn't ride it, but I think that it's almost identical shape and construction as another obscure board, Stuf Accellerator. Very short radius (below 9m) on 164, foam core with wooden stringers. mnovak
Goltes is very soft and wide -- you could even ride it in softboots -- good for beginner. Not really comparable to a 4x4 which is considerably stiffer. I have both, but only use the 4x4 now.
xray
Goltes are not all soft and wide and are pretty good freecarve boards! Tested one last year but I'm spoiled riding the latest Tomahawks...
Speedzilla
I have a Goltes Pro Race 180. I've only ridden it a few times. It's a really great board, but I'm enjoying the Prior 180 that I bought from Trikerdad a bit more. You may be seeing my Goltes on eBay soon. I hate to get rid of it, but the 15m sidecut isn't exactly ideal for our 300' of vertical.

However, the $299 one being discussed is a soft, easy rider.
groovastic
I tried Goltes ProCarve 175 and like it very much!
Kent
our 300' of vertical. Where'd they put all the dirt this summer?
Bubba
I may be interested in taking that board off your hands after the holidays if you want to bypass ebay. Kenton
