Guest claudio
I messed up (disclocated) my shoulder pretty bad last year and I think I want to get some kind of body armor for the coming season. Does anyone have any recommendations? Some folks are telling me that Sixsixone is the way to go and others are saying Rockgardn. If any of you guys have tried out body armor products and have opinions about the pros and cons, please let me know. THanks, Claudio;)

THanks, Claudio;) There is no consensus as what is ideal differs from person to person. Some people might like the forearm guards better. Some people really want interlocking spine plates. I like my Skeletools vest because there is more shoulder protection but that's just me. Realize that no jacket is really going to give you much protection re-dislocating your shoulder. trikerdad
I have a SixSixOne from a couple of years ago and like it and they've improved them since I bought mine.
Sinecure
The best brand of armor is the brand that you wear. Kind of like helmets (well, I guess that is armor for your head). It should be comfortable and offer decent protection. I have mostly Dainese, but I like the looks of the 661 stuff.
