dano
I was looking around on f2's site and found this... I assume you pump it up for stiffness? Sounds expensive, but it would be nice to only have a 1 board quiver and a bike pump...reminds me of my old camaro beater with air shocks all jacked up.. I can see myself getting a "flat" and then limping down the hill.... Now, THATS EXOTIC.

dshack
Honestly, I just don't get how the base works. P-Tex doesn't strike me as particularly stretchable; do you just get two draggy, flaccid tube things when you deflate?
dano
If it wasn't f2 I'd just have laughed my ass off... They claim it can "freecarve". It might be nothing in terms of snowboard evolution, but who knows? someday, a "smart" board that could sense varying speed, board angle, slope pitch, temp, humidity etc and set the optimum stiffness on the fly... http://www.f2-snow.com/
