Alu. discs for your burtons, I mean ibex's.......

Since ibex is continuing to reproduce the burton race plate, I e-mailed klug's site at www.klugriding.com, and asked if they were going to reproduce the aluminum discs (3D and 4x4) as well.

Here is what Mr. Klug himself had to say:

I have one pair, Pokkis gave me as a gift.

I did not try them just because I'm afraid the alluminum is to hard and coud break the plastic. Nexr week I'll test them and let you know.

I was really excited to try the aluminum discs back in the day, unfortunately they never did stiffen things up very much. I hope your impression is better.

On dark ages when i used Burton ones, i used alu disks mainly due i di not neede to be afraid breaking them as plastic ones.

Did not noticed any major effect stiffening setup.

Luckily those days are in past.
