C5 Golfer
We loaded up the X5 with the bikes and canoe and took a little trip up to British Columbia. Biked around Whistler and canoed and hiked up near Lillooet. the drive down to Seton Portage was a bit tough - thankful the BMW had good brakes and 4 wheel drive. The lake in the picture had an awesome campground - no one was there and no commercial development. Less than 3 months to go before Whistler opens. Neil Gendzwill
What's the boat? Is it a WeNoNah?
C5 Golfer
What's the boat? Is it a WeNoNah? It is a Mad River SunRunner - Kevlar. Pretty nice canoe and paddles effortlessly.
Neil Gendzwill
Didn't even know Mad River did a Kevlar layup - the only ones I've seen were Royalex. Great boats in the rapids, not so much with the effortless on the lake. I've got a Clipper Tripper S, lovely boat.

Here is a clip from Mad River Site-- 1974 Mad River builds the canoe industry's first Kevlar Canoe. Sunrunner was made 1994-1997 - it is a little over 17' in length. Neil Gendzwill
Interesting. Just looking at their site now, they've shortened up their tripping boats a little but still offer Kevlar in a couple models. Your boat looks great. D-Sub
heh. priorities are funny sometimes. That is a beautiful lake. I sat and stared for a while, visited the opposite shore, etc. Nice.
