NateW
Anyone else remember that photo? Stand-up hydrofoils just came up in conversation the other day and I've been trying to find the picture of the guy with alpine boots and bindings on his hydrofoil. Any links would be most appreciated.

NateW
That's the one, thanks. I figured he was just one isolated nut (and I mean that in the best possible way, I swear) but I came across http://www.hydrofoil.org/history.html recently and had a bit of deja vu. Apparently there are a lot of people out there willing to risk life and limb to ride those things. It does look pretty fun, I gotta say. :)
Bordy
I spent a lot of time getting crushed on a foil before understanding the joy of the foil. It like flying.... I am just learning to kite board and have seen lots of guys kiting on foils and going stupid fast!!! Snow foils for big mountain pow are next!!!!!
