  1. And boardman and other racers even used those burton plates with ski boots, so you know they were putting a lot of stress on those bindings.

The TD2's do look like a nice design, though. If I didn't already own 2 sets of burton plates plus extra disks, cants, heel/toe lifts, etc. I would certainly consider them.

right u are brad! after i broke my last set of snowpros in the 90s all i was able to get for cheap were race plates, granted i was a little lighter then :(but i rode the crap out of em with raichle flexon comps and still have 2 pairs left w/ plenty of life in em! however when these break i will be investing in some bombers cuz im sure klug's gonna run out of binders eventually and the tds seem to be the most fat-guy friendly!

  2. From the ticket scanner and sidekick today at WhiteTail (unsolicitied)

Still waiting for a package of decals from Prior, at which point I will strip off the old ones, and lay out a new format.

Rode with Boardman73 and BadBrad today at WT. It was fantastic for the first 2 1/2 hours. Boardman73 rocks by the way, talk about fast and super low carves!..... Layed a trench that would have swallowed an entire ski class.

hey rich thanx to you i now suffer from a severe case of board envy:angryfire

  3. hey wb here i was thinking that i was just being practical by riding flat(read one less variable to screw up when purchasing/mounting bindings)but based on your thoughts it seems maybe i actually made the right decision to keep it simple many years back when i broke my last pair of canted bindings and have been using flat race plates ever since.:biggthump

so now there is nothing to blame my bad riding on but fatness:angryfire

  4. i would just go with what feels comfy! i know for myself that even a cm wider makes a huge difference in riding and bending my fat ass over to get clipped in:biggthump i ride almost the same width on boards from 163 to 185 because it just feels right from so many years of riding a narrow stance but again everyones different so just experiment till ya get in the zone
