  1. One of these is for sale in my area. Wondering how this would be for an all-mountain board with hard plate bindings on it. I am 6'3, 215 so thinking it may not be enough board for me, although I still ride my M6 163 so it is in fact longer. Feedback? Thanks!
  2. Yeah I wish I still had one of those Hot boards too, I loved those things! snappy! Leave it home on the pow days but anytime else that thing was awesome.
  3. Wanted a Burton Frontier 175 which would be perfect for me ( 6'3", 225) but someone took the bid up past $250, not including shipping, and I could not continue. Looking for an all mountain board to replace my old Burton M6 (i know, i know, its been awhile since last upgrade). Prefer Burton since I have bindings with 3 and 4 hole plates but open to suggestions. Want something not too used by not too pricey. Thanks
  4. Actually cracked the cuff of one years ago and somehow found a guy with the exact same boot and size. I'm size 13 as well, dont know what I'll do when these blow out. what is wrong with yours?
  5. thanks Thor, I'll keep them in mind, hoping to find something cheaper however. Looks like a great binding though, may invest
  6. My current ones are cracking below so need to replace - have 3 and 4 hole plates, just need the main unit. Thanks
  7. I moved to Sandpoint Idaho a couple months ago! Sorry, I know it would be alot easier to do this search from Denver. Sandpoint is at the base of Schweitzer mountain, pretty small community (alot of people I ride the lifts with have never even seen hard set-ups) So, the cool thing is nobody realized how ancient my M6 is and are more fascinated with the boots and bindings. And if they did think I was out of date, they probably forget it when I end up in the lift line way ahead of them! thanks for the advice, I will keep asking around and see what I find... Mike
  8. you are right, I am just going off suggestions of people in the industry - the guy who told me to check out the Triumph was on the chair with me and saw I had hard gear. I dont know who to listen to nowadays, and it seems most of the gear I see on this site I have never heard of let alone know where to find it. I am also apprehensive about buying a board on a recommendation without riding it first. So, I guess I dont know what to do... thanks
  9. I dont get your response, please explain
  10. Hey all, desperatly need to upgrade this year - demoed a Baron this weekend, nice but not as quick edge to edge as some of my older boards - the shoppie suggested looking into a Triumph, saying it is a great all mountain board for all conditions - what do you think?
  11. I am so psyched I found this site! I am a one-time skier and switched over to boarding about 8 years ago living in Sun Valley ID. I have had to take the last two years off due to injury and traveling but am healthy and ready to have a great winter. Problem is, my gear is ancient! I have the Nordica SBH hardboots that are still in good shape, it is my boards that are relics. My all time favorite all-mountain board is the Burton M6. I have a couple of these since they were demos in the shop I worked in. I am looking for something similar but newer. I am 6'3" and about 215 and the M6 I have is a 163 which is boarderline too small. I also have a Rossi race board that is super stiff, and a Burton Big Air 183 I think, only good for bottomless powder. So, any suggestions would be great, I would like to purchase something asap for the upcoming holidays. I do have a couple sets of plate bindings but would prefer a whole setup as I think my plate bindings may have cracks on the under side of them. suggestions? Want a all-around board - stable on the groomers, quick in the bumps, be able to take anywhere. thanks much, I live in Denver and can meet you anywhere if you are looking to sell what I need. Mike
