  1. I have one pair of Hangle Plates for sale. These are an extra set that came off my kessler. I was very pleased with them but I have one too many sets and need to sell a pair. They are in good condition and were used very little. You will see extra holes on the plates where I mounted a set of F2 toe and heel pieces directly to the plate however, the factory 4 pack holes are still intact and work fine. I have the white metal plates that run alone the edges of the board but they are not in good shape as I removed them from the original board buy they could be reused. You are welcome to them if you want them. I am asking $375.00 and I will accept paypal. You are responsible for shipping costs and I will only ship in the US.

  2. I had Hansjuerg make the board for my weight range and foot size. I asked him to build me what the WC riders are on. I have a 162 SL and 182 GS both have hangle plates and kST technology. I run F2 titanium race plates. both the boards are a little wider than the standard shapes.

  3. Hey Boardy thanks for the info! Just so I have this straight, when I lay the board flat or put a straight edge on top of the edge I see the contact point is close to the second S in KESSLER. In you opinon would that be correct? I would be detuning the board much further back than I am used to but, that seems to be part of the technology!

  4. I was wondering if anyone knows if all the F2 race Titanium bindings have a Titanal Base Plate? I have two sets. One is an 04/05 model that has a polished base plate (Almost chrome looking). The other set is an 06/07 model that has a matt finished base plate. I am wondering if the 06/07 model is Titanal and the 04/05 model is just polished 6061 aluminum. Furthermore has anyone ridden both models and noticed any difference between the two?

  6. I have a stack of Donek Pilots that I have purchased for my race team with no problems! I also have owned three Donek custom's myself, two GS and one SL. The first GS board rode well and I sold it to my training partner who I coach with. I rode the board for one year and sold it. My training partner rode if for half a season and all the inserts started to pull out! Talked to sean and he would not fix the board, replace the board or give me a new one at cost. After all the boards I purchased (7 - in total) I was very confused that I was not treated better. I was also confused that I had riden three Donek custom's very hard weighing 200+ lbs and one of them failed that was relitively new and the others are still riding fine!

I am sure that many of the small alpine manufacturers work on low proffit margins and they must have a strict line when it comes to just giving out free product. You are most definitely out of luck when it comes to getting anything free as far as a replacement goes.

I have slowly started to convert my riders over to other products as to not run into this issue in the future. Good luck!

  7. These bindings will work with the intec step in heels sold on Bomberonline. This is the way to go if you are just carving as they are very easy to get in and out of! you can also convert these bindings to work with ski boots by purchasing the conversion kit from CATEK's website! Let me know if you are interested. They are boxed up and ready to ship. All I need is a mailing address and payment and they can be sent ou this week yet! As I mentioned before I will take paypal for the purchase.

  8. The CATEKs are Long Plates. Here is the description from CATEKs website.

    "Short | Long Plates

The Short Plate is ideal for smaller boot sizes (<10US) and lighter (<180lbs) riders. The 3/8" thickness provides a more forgiving ride than the long plate. The Long Plate accepts all boot sizes, and its 1/2" thickness provides the most powerful ride on the market. Riders weighing more than 180lbs or with a boot size greater than 10US must use the long plate."

  9. I sympathise with your anger towards people that don't send a check after they ask you to hold a board and you box it up put a shipping label with their name on it and let it sit for two weeks! Anyway, thanks to tahoetrencher I have sold the GS board but the red SL board (Awsome board by the way) is still for sale. The bindings which I am now reducing my price to $150.00 are also still for sale.
