HI guys
i started riding my 168 volkl when i was about 120 lbs. had no problem its a very fun board
chris im 140 lbs now and have no problem riding a 175 olympic donek. 158 volkl will be no problem for your son.

i love my 175 gs with the olympic core.it is great, lively with pop but is still resistant to chatter from bumps or just messing up. its stiff in all ways. i love the board. its the best one i ever ridden

Joel, beautiful bike. i just got into raodbiking this summer and bought a r400 cannondale. thats a great bike but i wanna upgrade. Have any problens with the felt?

Im 140 or so pounds. the board is a little stiff going slow, you just have to let it get going then start carving. its the 175 GS_18.5.

I just got my 175 Gs with the the olympic construction. Amazing. This board makes my 168 volkl suck lol. This thing just holds. I love it. I got mine in the metalic silver because you cant get a clear topsheet with the olympic upgrade. The silver looks like tin foil kindof, its cool.
