  1. 4mm Boilerplate, 4x4 mounting, used 4-5 days (half of which was setting courses). Will also include 2nd board kit BP version for TD3s. As you can see in the photos, this is in great condition, but my riding is fairly limited now so looking to find it a good home where it will see more use on the snow where it belongs. $600 shipped for everything, or will also be at Copper Mountain for USASA Nationals March 27th-April 3rd and could bring it along. (note: TD3s and Coiler in photo not included)

  2. Let me know when this is happening. Will depend on my schedule, but if I can make it out I'll be there. I have a full set of gates and stubbies we could use too. Or you could just do squats...

  3. Put some pics up and added a price to the OP. If you want higher res photos or have questions shoot me a PM.

Chubz, sent you an email to your old work address, so let me know if you didn't get it, been awhile since I sent you anything there I think.

  4. ****SOLD****

Tomahawk 180 GS Board from a few years back, full titanal. Has the textured orange topsheet, and it is not the cap construction so you can see the titanal layer just under the topsheet. $300+Shipping.

Used, but still in great shape. I'll try to measure it up tonight for exact specs, as it only has one set of inserts, but I believe the inserts are around 19.5. Sidecut is around a 14-15 with a little taper, but not as much as the new race shapes, so it hooks up a little bit more at the end of turns. PM me for larger, more detailed pics.

  5. Looks to me like an older prototype, probably from even before the most recent batches. If you look at the carbon butterfly, the way the ends are curved off the edge of the board, not squared off like the newer ones.

I was at Mike's apt. in Boston once and he had a bunch of different stuff like this kicking around.

Let us know how it rides!

  6. I've had this box for a long time. Had it on my Subaru, on my jeep, and now on my new toy! Like Geoff said, I actually notice it less on the Mini, maybe because of the stiffer suspension than my other cars. Don't notice a huge drop in MPG either, but a little bit. I've fit two bundles of gates and some boards in there before, so there is plenty of room.

Geoff, think I saw you on 146 the other day, heading North after work?

  7. Emily Nodine, from the Northeast used to be a bartender up at Sugarloaf. Some of you may have met her when we had ECES up there. Went to college with her, but not sure what she's up to these days, other than looking pretty damn good. Girl's a hell of a skier too, and word on the street was she used to ride hard boots.:biggthump

  8. so... did I capture your design concept in this sketch? some of the detail dropped out when I reduced and compressed but the core concepts should be understandable.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but when I look at this diagram I feel like it's set up backwards. It looks as though this setup would allow the plate to flex without deflecting the board, but if the board flexed (tail going up in diagram) wouldn't that also flex the plate up? Feel like the hinge should go the other way.

Again, maybe I'm just misreading the diagram.

  9. If it ever stops raining so we can ride again, I'll let you take the Tommahawk out for spin. It's a 180, full titanal, ~14m sidecut. Fun board, but now that I don't really race anymore, and have my new coiler, I'm probably going to get ride of it.

  10. You have a photo of the piece you need? I might have it, I have a set of the red and blue race plates that I've been using for parts. I'm thinking what you would need is the red piece, but I'm not sure.

You ride with John Deere at all? He's been coming down on Tuesdays to run gates, although looking at the weather, I doubt that will be happening this week....

  11. The plan is to set Slalom tomorrow night. Not sure what the weather will do, but if it gets cold, it will be pretty solid.

Geoff, it will be a long night if you bring the 14m. Got anything smaller that might work? You'd be better off on a madd 170 then that stubby in a slalom.
