  1. I figured I'd mention it, as the thread indicates the seller might not be updating as such. thanks. - phil in boston
  2. hi, the 4x4 sounds nice, but probably too rich for me right now. BTW, what kind of angles can be had on that - looks like 20.5cm waist? not many ATV's around, wonder if i'd rather something wider, like that? i have Raichle binding - 4-hole. thanks. - phil
  3. hi, i have hardboots and binding, and have tried a prior WCR and an old volkl SL - fun, but angles too extreme for my old knees. hoping to find a fun, inexpensive board to improve my carving skills, without cranking my knees. anyone got something appropriate for a 5'7" 175lb dood? again, have boots and bindings, just want affordable board, delivered to maine or boston. - Phil in Boston.
  4. might make a good band name? "The Router Blems!" seriously, it looks like they musta sneezed when cutting out or otherwise finishing the board. - Cheers.
  5. yeah, i like it. almost think they were doing a one-off or custom topsheet (as they often do). kinda looks like me, too. ;-)
  6. Greetings gearhounds, Thinning my quiver means no more stuff I only attempt once or twice a year. I bought this board as a new blem directly from the friendly folks @ Prior. I tried several times to love it, but...I am a skier that really can't dedicate the time required to get good at it. This board have about 5 days on it - maybe 20 runs. I gotta say the topsheet is a little dull from travelling around from hill to hill. (looks good still, but not really shiny any more - might need a coat of wax if you are into that.) Most important - the blemish(es) can be found at the rear corner: - there is a router "dig" on the metal edge (about half-way into the outside edge, not tail metal, 7cm/3 inches from back end of backside edge, unless goofy. - see pic. FYI: ridge of gouge faces in "preferred" direction - so as not to work against direction of carve.) - there is a missing bit of finished topsheet on the very corner. (smooth, not delaminating at all, just an imperfection of the hand-finishing process) These are both cosmetic, of course. Anyone who has witnessed/visited this sort of factory, and seen the by-hand manufacturing process can understand the type of imperfections mentioned. But, I do not encourage anyone looking for a "new" or "perfect" board to inquire. This is a used, blem, with a badass topsheet-graphic and hardly any use. So, first $200 + actual shipping takes it.
  7. my boots are up for sale again - hugh's pal did not come through. FYI good luck.
  8. they are new, and might fit you. see my post on this board. http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3157 in any case, to find your mondopoint size, trace your foot onto a piece of paper, then measure the longest point from toe to heal, in centimeters. i think this gives you mondo size. good luck.
  9. Hugh, Lemme know if your friend wants them for sure. Otherwise I need to move on to the next person. I trust you understand. Also, if you do want a Red Sox Locker Room WSC hat, that'll be another $29 dollars. Happy to toss it into the crate. -Phil
  10. Bought over the summer, but wife got me nice new custom Austrian jobbies! So, please take these off my hands. Never used. I tried them on once, and clipped them into my bindings to adjust the angle. all boxed-up and ready to ship. they are the same as these. http://users.uniserve.com/~yoja/boots.html In fact this is the guy i bought them from... gimme $129USD + actual shipping, and I'll ship 'em right out! Thanks,
