  1. We've got a lot of other input, and a second opinion from an ortho with nothing to gain. Moving forward with the surgery. Apparently her ligaments are in great shape, and she has good muscle tone, so rehab should go well.

Gotta tell ya, she's been through the wringer

    2 spinal fusions (Malformed vertebrae)

Broken arm at shoulder, couldn't cast. (In line skating)

ACL, MCL, spiral tibia fracture, shattered wrist. (Snow skiing)

Broken tib, fractured fib, no surgery (Water skiing)

And now this by getting slammed by a dog in the dog park.

    GHEEZ

But, she's a trooper, she'll come through fine, always does. (Makes me feel like a whimp!)

Thanks so much for the input and good vibes

    Scott

she have a rebuilt title ?

    :o

  4. He has been asking (begging) to board for 2 years. I

as long as they have fun... my two years old daughter want to snowboard, she have princess ski but asked a snowboard.. so I bought one, even if she can't stand correctly for a year, I don't mind as long as I see a smile on her face...

  5. You first, you are the new guy :)

I can tell you that the BOL community has a very wide range of folks that have a wide range of skills/ Professions.

After having seen the results of past surveys , we do have a "above average" number of technical professions. Fair number of engineers, along with skill trades.

There are thousands of members, many have very modest means yet choose to spend their discretionary income on anything that will improve their precious moments on snow. Others are , well, just possessed :eplus2: No apology intended

I was kidding.. Few years ago (and no kid) I would have bought many, but priorities change...

Last week at tremblant, one of my daughter (she is 2 yeats old) was looking at a micro burton with angel eyes.. I will have to spend a few bucks more ;-)

Some of you guys have really nice board collection, I'm jealous ;-p

  6. no plate on JJA board ?

I thought his boards were only sold with the the JJA interface.

He built the board to ride without plate. The less you weight, the less the plate is needed.. As I am a 125 pouds rider, I will try without, maybe the next board will have the interface...
