  1. Blue was good the couple of times I went up. Early morning riding on Mile was the best it could be for this time of year. Just got back from Stratton dealing with rain on Sunday morning (day turned out to be great), sheet of ice on Monday and Tuesday was fast but able to dig in some nice lines. Looks like this weekend will be a washout for PA and most of the northeast. Might try Blue on Saturday morning.

  2. When do you plan on going and how long do you plan on taking for vacation? Unfortunately, if you are looking for a PB&J place, that kind of knocks out a lot of the major resorts. Although, if you are going to be packing your lunches, that shouldn't really matter.

  3. Thanks for the info philw. I'll have to check and see if it has a date code on it. Later than 97 doesn't seem possible (bought my house that year and that pretty much put an end to buying new equipment!!!). I think it had Oxygen bindings on it, which I think were yellow and black. They had big front bails on them, that were spring loaded.

  4. Here you go. They simplified the graphics for this year. I think this was probably two seasons after the original red Scorpion design, can't remember what they did the season in between. In that period they switched from drilled mounts to 4x4 inserts, I moved from the Fritschi to... I can't quite remember.

The board's actually in great condition although I rode it a fair bit on snow and plastic. The marks on the topsheet are just reflections from other book cases plus the markings where the bindings: it's clean.

What year was that board made? I have an old Nitro Scorpion 60 and just wondering what year it was made. Was a fun board to ride on, but the bindings finally broke. post-12365-141842418428_thumb.jpg

  5. post-12365-141842407774_thumb.jpgJust a question for anybody that is using RC-10 boots. I was at the boot fitter today and he noticed on both my boots how loose the canting connections were on the boots (the picture is where its loose). Its almost as if the center disk is too small and the larger outer cant disk is allowed to move up and down. Anybody have this issue on their boots? To be honest, I've never noticed it before, so I'm not sure fixing it is going to change anything on my end. Thanks in advance.

  6. Hello Everyone - I'm heading up to Stowe for the month of February and would really like to meet up with some other carvers. Was there last year for a couple of weeks, but didn't see to many on the mountain. Just checking to see if there are some on the Bomber forum.

  7. Was up at Blue this weekend. Saturday wasn't too bad, but conditions were pretty nice. Sunday was pretty packed, but the VIP line helps a lot. Saw another Hardbooter riding, just wondering if it was one of you guys.

  8. It was simple, I was riding on an old burton board (AMP 6) using Timberland pack boots. Stopped by a shop in Vermont after riding and they talked me into trying out Burton hard boot binding and Nordica SBH boots. Never looked back at that point. Think it might have been around 94 when I switched over.

  9. Alright, this is a little weird. I have RC-10 (gray color) and they are size 5.5-6.5 (266-287) and they came with 61/2 size liners. I am assuming they are the flow liners, not really sure how to tell. As said before, and you already know, the shells cover a range of sizes. I would think it is more important to get the right size liners to match your foot size and get the best molding.

  10. Fogged in at the summit at Blue this morning. Thats got to be a little rough.... Would love to be up there, but skiing in the rain is no fun. Last Sunday's ice storm was bad enough. Anyone thinking of going tomorrow?

  11. I'm heading up on the 26th and riding there on the 27th. Than heading over to Okemo on the 28th and back to Stratton on the 29th and 30th. Heading back home on Tuesday. Staying at the Lifeline Lodge. Where you staying at teach?

  12. Alright, not exactly to happy with the weather coming in this weekend. At 60 degrees, I think I will avoid blue this weekend. Heading up to Stratton the following weekend to enjoy the nice long lifelines! Hope to see you guys sometime after the new year.

  13. Teach, I was looking for you to, I only lasted a little while longer before my legs gave out. I was drinking a beer and saw you ride by at one point. I know you are a Camelback guy, but if you are going to be a blue next weekend, let me know. If not, I wouldn't mind heading up to camelback for something different.
