  1. I worked public safety for over a decade at a Colorado resort.I would get calls every so often for "unlocks" for boards/skis locked to ski racks from owners who lost their key. the vast majority used the usual thin metal wire rope which, after making sure to get all the owners personal info to make sure the gear was theirs,i would take a simple leatherman with built in cutters and snip the wire in half a second, usually to the owners surprise at how easy it cut. Most ski cables are a complete waste of time. Anyone know of a stronger cable that is easy to transport around? leaving your lock on a base area ski rack is fine but useless if you go into an on mountain lodge.
  2. Hi all,i am currently riding in Deeluxe Track 325,size mondo 30 boots but they feel too big,my main problem is i have wide feet, size 11.5.Are UPZ boots wider or narrower? just looking to see if theres any other options out there. thanks in advance.
  3. I tried unscrewing the banjo joints a couple of turns front and back.boots are fitted and theres plenty of thread still in the joints, good to go :) Thankyou to all who responded, gotta love the carving community <3
  4. Ithere are no dimples,i think thats the flash on my camera, there is more metal under the blocks but it wont leave much for the blocks to sit on.hopefully Fin will have some good news.right now i'm bummin, brand new Donek dying to be ridden :)
  5. i double checked the blocks, they are at their furthest settings.Heres a photo of one of the plates, the toe clip on the front gave me a chuckle :) they are set up correctly.
  6. Can anyone tell me whats the maximum sized boot that can fit into a regular TD3 binding? I was under the impression sizes up to mondo 31 but i just took delivery of a new pair of TD3s and i cant get them to fit my new Deeluxe 325 size 30 boots.
  7. I live at the base of Beaver Creek resort,we have over 1500 acres open atm, good groomers perfect for carving.Less than an hour to get here just head west on I-70.

  10. Evening all, ex carver here looking to get back into the sport, been riding for 20+ years, the last 10 on soft boots and all mtn boards exclusively .i rode alpine boards for about 7 years prior to that. i am 6'1" 240 lbs, mondo 28/28.5. i was wondering, for someone of my build would a glass board be stiffer and be able to handle carves better than a metal board? kinda like a Donek freecarve vs Donek freecarve metal? im guessing a 180/185 would be my ballpark length,i am used to big high speed carves. i see the Bomber store has some Nidecker custom GS 183 boards for sale at a decent price, would this be an option? i live at the base of Beaver Creek resort and get a lot of riding in so im looking for a reliable board. thanks in advance.
