Evening all,
ex carver here looking to get back into the sport, been riding for 20+ years, the last 10 on soft boots and all mtn boards exclusively .i rode alpine boards for about 7 years prior to that.
i am 6'1" 240 lbs,mondo 28/28.5.
i was wondering, for someone of my build would a glass board be stiffer and be able to handle carves better than a metal board? kinda like a Donek freecarve vs Donek freecarve metal?
im guessing a 180/185 would be my ballpark length,i am used to big high speed carves.
i see the Bomber store has some Nidecker custom GS 183 boards for sale at a decent price, would this be an option?
i live at the base of Beaver Creek resort and get a lot of riding in so im looking for a reliable board.
thanks in advance.
