OES SNOWBOARD
This board is a completely crazy ride!! The edge hold is amazing but to my great regret too narrow for my big feet. The 2 boards were only used for half a day.

I truly hope they do not break.
Binding failure--being left one-footed at speed, and especially on rail--is one of the most terrifying paths to bodily injury.
I've never been injured as a result of forces imposed on the body during a carve, but I have snapped cores and bindings mid-carve.
Given the choice between board and binding failure, I'll choose board each time. In my experience, board failures are simply safer.
This is why I'd prefer aluminum baseplates; I've never had one fail.
But yes, I'll test these and post up a review.
Hi
What is your long terme review on this bindings ?

Hello fellow carver,
a question has been on my mind for some time. I plan to re-equip myself in softboot carving next year.
However, I haven't been able to determine the right boot/binding combo for my needs.... Even after reading the posts here...(some are a bit dated) the question of the board is settled, however. I wear 12/13 (29.5 mondo).
Should I have stiff boots/stiff bindings or softer bindings...?? For 200 lbs. There is also the issue of the plate risers.. but that will be easy to sort out.
So what are your suggestions? Or your favorite combo?
Tanks.
