  1. I have a pair of td1s with (3) 0deg cants and (3) 3deg cants and the appropriate bumpers.

One td released on me once (could be my fault for setup) I personally would replace the bail but that's me... But it does look hardly used. .. Im WAY over cautionary and don't want anyone to not know. I have the binding marked so you would know.

Other wise they all look in decent shape. Typical scratches and scuffs.. I just don't need these as I have td3 now.

Any one interested ill post pictures... Id like to sell all together but not necessary.

Fair offer? I dont know ... ill check back in a few

  2. Thank you everyone I printed out the list of trails and hit them all.

    Super fun times!

You effort was not in vain.

We had a a foot or more one day and hit the back bowls and that was such a hoot. My toes are still sore from the trip... hahah.

    I really really appreciate it!

Big thanks to everyone especially xolufus !!! Did I meet you there by chance, I rode a lift with a guy from Chicago (was on skiis but he had a house in vail) and he travels to vail every week.He sat with me and my cousin who is a cop.

  3. Hey Sorry I just back from Colorado I know most are still up there, but I went before the games began. I enjoyed myself, we had alot of snow almost every day I was there and stayed on my pow board in the back bowls.

If anyone's still interested I'm thinking 200 or so including shipping to lower 48. Canada a few dollars more and if you want insurance a few dollars more. Its a heavy box so that's a good deal.

  4. took me almost 4 hrs to get back to denver last night, tires (and weight distrubution) are more important that drivetrain lay out. just ask both the camaro and the x3 that were having trouble. (not to mention the total prick in the escalade, I was hoping heck wrecked it!)

snow isnt as bad as ice.

Ice Blows, Im used to that crap living here in the east coast..

Ok Im just asking because Im very good at snow driving, just here in the east they really suck at plowing etc. Im sure they are professionals there :o

Im cool with the front wheeled car in the snow.. If we can get a upgrade ill go that route. Just worried about making up the hills etc.. You guys/gals are awesome for answering my silly questions.!

  5. Hi, in the past I have bought td1's for $75, but have seen them go for significantly more, up to $120-130. I use the bails and bail plates on bindings of my own design. I already have 2 sets, but could use spares. So for me at this point paying the high end doesn't make sense, but I could offer you say 180.00 for both.

    Phil

hey sorry Im way way way overloaded with work (had a family emergency as well).. Im trying to get outta here to go to CO. If your still interested when I get back next week.

    be well

  6. Hi everyone sorry about this stupid question. Im used to the east coast snow and how the roads basically shut down with 3 inches of snow.

Im supposed to be flying into denver to go to vail on 1/26. We have a rental car (front wheel drive thing) to drive around, is there going to be much of a problem getting to the mountains on monday. The weather channel says 3-6 inches or so.

The Only other time I was in CO it didnt snow for a week. :freak3:

  7. Q: Will skis and golf clubs be assessed the $15 first checked bag fee or the $25 second checked bag fee?

a:Yes and these items may be subject to oversize or overweight fees as well.

    Ski equipment

Ski equipment may be accepted in the normal baggage allowance in lieu of a piece of baggage. US Airways will accept 2 ski bags, however, 1 item of ski equipment consists of 1 pair of skis or snowboard, 1 pair of ski boots, 1 pair of ski poles and 1 pair of ski bindings.

The passenger must provide acceptable encasement/packaging for the ski equipment, such as fiberglass or cloth bag to protect the ski equipment and to prevent damage to other bags. (US Airways may provide plastic ski bags if available). If the ski equipment is not properly packaged/protected, the customer assumes all risk of damage.

Thanks Gd Im not bringing home some antlers..They used to have something for xmas trees years ago. Who travels with a xmas tree?

    Antlers

Antlers will be accepted as checked baggage for a charge of $100 per direction. The following conditions of acceptance apply:

    Dimension (H + W + L) must not exceed 120 in/305 cm

On the CRJ aircraft the largest dimension cannot exceed 33 in/84 cm and the overall dimensions cannot exceed 99 in/252 cm

On the Dash 8 aircraft the largest dimension cannot exceed 50 in/127 cm

Head/skull must be completely clean and free of residue

Points must be covered and protected

    1 rack per ticketed customer

Can’t combine or cradle 2 or more racks

    ..delta sayss

    Christmas Trees

Have Christmas tree, will travel. We will accept cut Christmas trees as limited-release baggage on all flights within the United States, including flights to/from Hawaii. However, all Christmas trees will be subject to baggage allowance and baggage size restrictions.

Trees need to be adequately packaged with the root ball or cut base and all branches wrapped and secured using a burlap-type material.

All passengers traveling into Hawaii and checking Christmas trees as baggage must include it on their declaration form and the tree must pass agricultural inspection.

  8. I have 2 sets of td1's.. im totally lazy and would like to sell both sets at once, does anyone have interest in 2 sets of not step in?

Also one of the bails doesnt fit my boots so If it fits yours good, if not ill order a bail and have bomber send it to you. (Just 1 bail doesn't fit... go figure)

They are used but have plenty of life. (they are scratched up a bit, don't expect a perfect specimen)

    Edit

    1 6deg

    2 0 deg

    2 3 deg

bumpers to match the disks. . (I cant tell the difference with a yellow or a red bumper, but thats me)

As far as price, im more than reasonable. Whatever is fair, I think Ive sold a few things and given people money back because I thought it was to much. I don't need to worry about a few dollars.

If anyone is interested just post up here. If not ill sleaze-bay them.. I'm going out of town on 1/26 to Colorado so if your going to pull the trigger do it soon. I wont be here next week.

  9. Go with somebody who has a pass. Each passholder gets like 6 discount buddy tickets.

Thanks... Ill grab someone out of the lift line! hahahha (don't think I wont)

Last time I was in Utah the ski shops and grocery stores sold discounted tix ... I didn't know if they did that their ... It was great just stop in and get some ramen and a ticket.

  10. In addition to the good information posted on this thread, you'll find up-to-the-minute info on what's groomed using Vail's daily grooming report. Same at Beaver Creek. Keep in mind both areas groom some slopes during the day, so if your like your corduroy light and airy (before the freshly groomed crystals bond) note which slopes will be groomed before noon and plan accordingly.

    <img src="http://i43.tinypic.com/34640zn.jpg" border="0" alt="Big snow: Bring your fat board!">

We've enjoyed big snow through the last week, with more forecast. The coverage and the conditions are sensational.

Look forward to an amazing vacation!

    Cheers,

    B-2

WHAT?!?.. Im from the East Coast....if its not Ice I dont know what your talking about. ..

lets see, ice is bad on the west coast?

    lol

gotta love it... I think it was 55deg today and its droppping below freezing... the mountains here are going to be a great chunk of boiler plate later.

  11. its a commodity item.. I used to just go to whiskeymilitia (or similar) and buy a new pair every few years...

    BUT,.,,,,

My nephew is a chemical engineer in the army and told me about the chemical camo suits called (jlist or something) they use...Said they would be great for snowboarding. Im sure they cost a few grand to uncle sam but you can buy a pants and jacket on ebay for about $100.00.No pockets though

I fould a pair on ebay... oh my.. these things are amazing. I only have a few runs in them so I cant begin to say how well they hold up. The water proofing is amazing. You just look like a idiot in full camo.

  12. Just want to post how impressed I am by the new TD3. I just got me a pair and It solves all the issues I have with my TD1's..

Hats off to all the Fin and the designers.

These things definably 'go to 11'

So Im going to post my td1.s up for sale now...:)

  13. Thank you Thank you Thank you...

You have no Idea how much this means to me.. I asked this a few years ago when we went to Utah and we told about a trail that me and my cousin still talk about to this day. It was amazing, I think we did that trial for 3/4 the day.

Were going to be in town for a week a trip to BC is not out of the question. ..

    Suggestions again?

  14. Hi

were staying in Lionshead, I prefer intermediate trails, but as the day goes on I switch to easy. Ill go anywhere, both me and my cousin are pretty adaptable.

He is kinda slow on anything choppy. Im looking for some great carving groomers.

I was at vail years ago and never made it to blue sky basin... What kind terrain in in there?

    Thanks!!!
