  1. Yeah I was just reading this and it's sad that people got hurt. I'm am very grateful because this same thing happened at my resort the Sunday before last. Thankfully nobody was hurt and nobody fell from the chair. I was stuck on the chair with my GF and two buddies for about an hour and twenty minutes before we got evacuated. It was snowing and the the winds were 30-40 with gusts of 60-70mph.

That's James Ong and Russell in the photos.

  2. Thanks Ace! I'll see if I can translate through the site and order some. I have a new board coming with a real wood top sheet and was thinking these would be nice so my bindings don't leave marks. Bonus that they are functional as well.

  3. Hans,

Where did you get that damper? It looks like carbon fiber. Can I get my hands on a set of those?

Like those new carbonlooklike Priordecks. Pitty you broke yours. Also that Kessler from Buel, looks like those boards can't handle stiff bindings/plates. I am very interested how many stress there will be on boards with for instance the new Boiler Plate. I am gonna use these dampers this season for the first time. Funny that I see no broken Coilers.
  4. I could really use new liners, but my liners are size 28.

Can anybody tell me if I'll get a decent fit from molding a slightly larger liner into my existing boot?

Shells are AF600, upper is stamped 28-30.5, lower boot is stamped 325/28.5 on the inside and 309mm on the outside.

    Thanks,

    Trip

    Hey Trip,

You have a 28 shell so no these liners will not work for you, sorry.

Per the info in this post, M28 = 309mm. Ignore the size stamped on the upper part of the boot.

The shell of the boot fits sizes in range from *.0 - *.9 (for ex, a 26.0 - 26.9). The next shell takes over where this one ends. The liner makes up the difference from here ONLY IF IT IS NOT A THERMOFLEX LINER!!!! If it is a thermoflex liner, it runs the same as the shell and should be sized appropriately.

Thermoflex liners do not come in half sizes, as the whole size will form to your foot as long as you do the shell test and the shell is the right size.

  5. I own a Swede and a 200 Tanker and I'll probably sell the Tanker this year because it's not going to be ridden anymore thanks to the Swede.

The Tanker is fun in the pow but I don't have access to tons of open bowl to ride so I use my Dynastar 4807 more than the Tanker on the pow days.

I like the Swede because of how versatile it is as an all mountain all conditions board. It did good in the pow and carves very well.
