Hi just saw this I have a 172 Proton For $50 plus shipping from 83702.
It's in good shape binding rash on top and some small scratches on base can't get good pic of base because storage wax. If interested I can send more pics. Charlie

Hi Charles, I just wanted to reach out to thank you for being so understanding in regards to the board issue, and to thank you for sending me a refund check for the lower shipping cost. That was really nice! I've shredded the check and will mount the board on the wall of my garage soon.

Hi Charlie, I received the board. Unfortunately it is bent right where I thought it might be; right in front of the front binding mount holes. This board will never ride right. At this point it is wall art.
What are your thoughts?

Thanks for sending pictures. Can you send a picture showing how much edge is left from base grinding? Are you the original owner? If so, how much did you ride it?
Also, if you sight down the edge, is the camber continuously smooth and constant? In the past I have bent these boards at the front binding mount. They look good but ride like crap if they are bent. If you sight down the edge from tip to tail, you would see a discontinuity in the camber if it is bent. I don't mean to be a pain, but I would need to make sure it isn't bent.
