  1. SELL PENDING Burton Factory Prime 164 for sale Top deck a little worn with a few scratches and dings, base/edges in good shape, with Burton bindings. Original owner, regular tunes, not used the last several years. Would be a great purchase for someone wanting to get into this sport for little money, or for adding to your quiver. $100.00 plus shipping (have a pair of beat up, but still usable, Raichle 723 size 10 1/2, yours for free with purchase of board) Can't beat it, a whole used alpine set up for only 100.00
  2. I have a Burton Factory Prime 164 from about 10 years ago that is in good shape. It does have bindings but not sure what size they will go down to.
  3. I'm not sure what is causing this to happen this season. My heel turns are sloppy and causing uncontrollable bucking. I'm trying new boards and the only thing I can think of is maybe having the bindings to far apart. For the longest time I've been carving down the mountain effortlessly on this Donek Pilot. This season it seems like I'm fighting it way to much. Any suggestions? Is there a certain distance the front binding should be from the top of the board?
  4. I recently took a friend's alpine board out that I'm going to buy. It's a 169 factory prime and much stiffer than what I'm use to. On my heel turns the board was bucking out of control. I was told of a few physical adjustments I can make to help eliminate that, but I was wondering about moving the back binding up a little closer? On my Donek Pilot, the bindings are closer. Think that would help?
  5. carvedog - that makes a lot of sense now that I think of how I was quickly making the heel turn. My other boards are softer compared to this one - thanks!!
  6. I was kinda wondering if that was an issue as well, but I haven't had that problem with my other boards, but this is the longest I've been on
  7. Tried a different board today, a 169 Factory Prime, in very good shape considering how old it is. On my heel turns the board would start bouncing out of control. Never had that problem before with other boards. An instructor was watching me and said that I obviously know what I'm doing so the board is probably out of tune. Would that be the cause of this bouncing?
  8. yes, I am interested, please contact me at treksunvalley at yahoo dot com
  9. I'm in need of a 4 hole canted disc plate that is compatible with the Burton bindings. Please contact me if you have one lying around or know where I can get one. Thank you!!
