How much are the typical dues?
Are we talking about much $$$
Would it have prevented you from having to take the test again?

Two years ago when I broke my femur the dues were $70 a year. That doesn't include the $15 for the written plus $90 PER riding test module or any of the other misc. junk.
The pay increase and the lack of benefits along with the politics were definitely not worth it. I would rather pay for my pass and give free lessons to random people than deal with AASI ever again.

Is that for both bindings? What about getting the biner caught on tree runs? The guys I ride with are all too mischievous to advertise having an ejection handle hanging out the side of my pants! :rolleyes: You could always incorporate the handle into your pocket but the next time you pull into the lift line you might have to...

I've got some kids plate bindings but no boards. Looking for a 97-105cm myself.

How long do you have to wait though? Quantity discount? I've got 8 boards and a couple pairs of skis that need different levels of tuning.

They can get you tuned up but don't know the staff.
...I always forget they have an REI there. I always end up at Sportsman's Whorehouse instead. Usually when I head to the Tri-Cities it's for ducks, pheasant, or family.

They've been doing that at several mountains around here for years. There are even plain clothes officers on site. The only problem is the two largest areas are next to major highways...easy escape.

My favorite soft shell ... mitts and neck gator included. My only complaint is my goggles fog when using the gator but that is a separate issue.

:lol: I just remembered I have a new pair of Nordica SBH under my bed. I put them there when we moved in right after SES '05 and a couple of months before I broke my femur. Now that I am cleared to ride again maybe I can find some bindings that will work with them. Anyone want to trade 3 pairs of Drake Jr bindings for adult bindings?

I have never sold a favorite board. I either break them while riding or the core gets too soft for any useful purpose. I have an old Burton Floater I was going to use for a bench but it is so floppy it would work better as a seat for a swing.
