I am interested in the Madd 170 Metal and will join the line, especially since it appears to be in Canada.
I will try to pm you if I can figure it out

I really appreciate the constructive comments.
This has told me that I should be checking the footpad mounting screws regularly on my Rattraps.

Looking at my Rattrap bindings and confirmed by the photos, The footpad mounting does not look as elegant as Jack is describing.
It looks like the plastic spacers are sitting on top of the washer with rubber below that.
Would cyclic loading of the screws be that bad?

Can you preload the screws on a plastic component binding like the F2 or Burton? They are only 6mm diameter vs. 1/4" on the Rattrap.
I wonder how close we are to overloading the screws?
Maybe the rubber washers are not for vibration but for flex?

It should not be more than $50 shipping to Canada on US Postal.
How do I email you directly for Paypal and shipping address etc?
In the past, I have been able to click on a direct email in the notification..

I have a few of these Rat-Trap Bindings that I got from Trident Sports in Vancouver BC, Canada just before they stopped making them.
I love these bindings:1luvu:. They fit in between the TD's and the Burtons for flex, The thin base plate provides the flex. Changing to a thicker plate just flexes the boot instead.
Canting and lift are done with washers and plastic spacers. Vibration is reduced with rubber/aluminum washers.
The long toe bail is easy to open and close and the heel bail does not fall over or fall back.
Snow does not get packed into the center and can be cleaned out easily
The cable adjustment can be a pain but the fit does not change with temperature. Can be adjusted snug in a warm house and not be sloppy on those cold days.
If you want to get rid of these bindings, I could put them to good use.

Did you decide to keep the board or not want to ship to Canada?

Is the Madd still available?
Would you consider shipping to Canada by US Postal?

I searched before I posted this. I read many articles and found some boards have moved around, but could not track down a Hooger 181 tuned.
I was hoping someone might be cleaning up for summer.
Any help would be really appreciated.

Would you want to ship it to Canada via US Postal when you are done?
I have been told shipping to Canada can be a hassle.

Do I understand that Marker Canada and Volkl are now allowing Canadians to purchase 178 Renntigers in Canada now?
I tried to order the 178 and I was told that there is no way I could get that board, period.
Do you have Volkl connections in Canada?

What sort of sidecut and width do these 185 Burton Customs have?
Are the the same as the Factory Prime 185? I was hoping the used board may turn quicker than the 15m of my FP185.
Are the Burton Physics bindings the Step-in Physics?

I was told that there was only one other person trying out boards with hardboots that day.
I brought my tape measure and found the waist on the 177FLC Metal was 20.2cm.
I was amazed at how much slower it was edge to edge than my 177WCRM with a 19.5 waist.
The wax on that board was not appropriate for the temperature. It was extremely sticky so speeds were not very fast.
It rode similar to my 185WCR - providing a big board feel in a mid size package.
Good to hear of, if not see another hard booter.
