  1. The SG arrived and it is in beautiful condition. Took it out today for a couple of runs and I’ve decided I can’t part with it. It’s incredible how smooth the edge hold is and I was surprised that it made tight fast turns nearly as easily as the big fast ones it was designed for. I’ll be looking for a newer donek or coiler Freecarve 170 to round out my quiver, but I’m keeping this deck for sure. Thanks for the interest

  2. I’m trying to work a deal with a guy who has a SG Full Race Titan 175 in near new condition. It is too much board for me, but he’s selling them with the bindings I’ve been looking for and won’t sell them separately. Wondering if there is interest in the board if I were to purchase the package and snag the bindings? Not looking for commitment, of course, just gaugeing interest. I’d, of course, post photos and give the board a full condition review before posting, but wouldn’t purchace it if there is not much interest. Would need around $550 for the board to work out.

  3. Beautiful board and I may be interested. This season, I’ve finally been hitting the mtn on a regular basis and need to get more serious about my gear. I just picked up some Deeluxe boots and BTS bindings, but haven’t yet upgraded my vintage Burton Asym. I’ve definitely maxed out the ability of the board and while it’s still fun, I am ready to start improving again. I have an aggressive riding style and like to make short snappy turns and lay down the euro when conditions are prime. The Asym board is almost entirely incapable of making big fast turns in nearly any condition and I fee this is what I’m craving. I was checking out the Donek Freecarve as a fun all around carving board, but I’m intrigued about your Proteus. I’m 6’2, 175 and wear 28.5 mondo. My local Mtn is Sun Valley, so we have wide open, steep slopes as well as fun narrow bowl groomers. Most winters, our snow is pretty firm—not icy, but very dense boilerplate machine groomed. Does this bird have enough dampness to hold an edge in hard conditions? Also, does the board require a ton of speed to carve? Sorry for the long response, in this sport there are few opportunities to try out gear before purchasing . Cheers

  4. Looking for a useable pair of carving boots size 28, 28.5 or 29. Ski boots are killing my feet and shins and need some relief! Been used to carving with ski boots and do pretty well, so I’m assuming a stiffer carving boot would be best? Doesn’t really matter as long as they don’t feel like torture devices.

  5. This is an older Prior WCR 175 that has too narrow a waist for me (18cm). The edges are like new (little surface rust), the camber is huge and the base has no damage to it. The board will need a wax upon receiving it. Everything else is in like new condition save the light scratches that tend to show on the shiny surface of this board.

$200 OBO + Shipping, or consider trade for a 19.5 cm waist GS board in the 170's length.

Also have burton plates for sale for $30
