[What is the Montucky Clear CUT to you?]

I am looking forward to riding with you all at MCC!  This will be my first time at MCC.  I am especially interested in the clinics and trying to lay out some euro carves!  

I started as a hard booter in 1989 with a Burton PJ 170 AYSM board and have enjoyed carving since then.  Looking forward to meeting you all.

Thank you for your input on the Donek F plate and the Rev 163.  I ordered some Bomber Sidewinders BP bindings.  Looking forward to setting up the Rev with the SW bindings and the F Plate for carving at the Montucky Clear Cut.

I paid $218 for the F Plate on Gear Trade.  I wish I had found this forum before making my recent purchases.

[Road conditions to Turner Mountain?]

My first time going to Montucky Clear CUT!  Hopefully, there will be enough snow for Turner Mountain to open, and MCC is a go!

What is the road to Turner Mountain like? Will a rear-wheeled van be able to get up to Turner Mountain with all-season tires from Libby?  I have snow chains, but I prefer not to use them.   I can rent an AWD SUV as an option.

Is there a shuttle bus to Turner Mountain?

Hello, fellow Carvers,
 I am preparing for the 2024 Montucky Clear CUT and purchased a REV 163 UPM from eBay and a Donek F Plate from Gear Trade.
The Donek F Plate (UPM version). The F Plate came with eight oval nuts.  What are these oval nuts used for? The F Plate did not come with any instructions.  Does anyone have a set of instructions for mounting the Donek F Plate (UPM version) to the Rev 163?

FYI: I wish I had found this forum before making my purchases.
