Bouncing around all over the place; going nowhere.

If the board is sized properly for your weight and application, and the bindings are in the right place, you shouldn't need to use exaggerated fore/aft movements to turn.

    Some would disagree, I'm sure.

Oh i get now lol. Cheers just never heard that saying, makes sense now though ??

Confirmed.  I moved the bindings back about an inch and the next day the board carved better on all types of snow but was too slow to come around.  My turn initiation could use improvement.  What is the 'sneaker in the clothes dryer' approach?

Ye i'd like to know what the 'sneaker in the clothes dryer' is too lol

  3. The season is about to get in full swing, 5 weeks till my first week up the mountain ?️? and i can not wait. Anyone had any  decent days in  the snow already i know a  few areas have had some early snow?

As Ryan Knapton would say 'Happy Shreadin' everyone ??

I suspect you could also use an old-school cork and get similar results to the Wax Whizard, but you need to push harder to generate enough heat.

Has anyone tried basic paraffin wax (for canning) to do a hot scrape.  That stuff is really cheap!

Just used a cork, safe to say I've used arm muscles i haven't for a while ?

  5. Does anyone have there forward lean on there bindings set differently on each foot? I'm sure I read some where but can't find the article to have one on slightly more than the other will help carving and the initiation of turns..

i guess it depends largely on the person and what they want out of their riding - its not really about being superior or not.

One person wants to just stand up and ride

Other wants to fly from turn to turn, be close to snow and pursue that adrenaline rush and bliss of emptiness of mind during a ride....

there is no other sport that helps me clear my mind better than hardbooting.

Got to agree with the clearing your mind there's nothing better than when your coming down beautiful scenery and all your cares gone ??
