  1. Hey Swapoodle, I am a all mountain hardbooter and this past season I switched from UPZ and TD3s to AT (alpine Touring) boots and Phantom bindings. It was the best move I have ever made while snowboarding. The boots, Scarpa Spirits, are soft for AT boots, 3 buckles with a hike/walk forward lean lock lever on the back. They are super light, great flex for boarding (i will probably modify them in flex to make them softer this year) and easy to hike/walk in. I also switched bindings this year to the Phantoms and the combination is excellent. The first thing to note is the stack height, with the old set up I was almost 5" under my heal to the deck of the board, new set up about 1.5". This was huge for me. Second thing I noticed was how quick, snappy, and light the overall set up is. One thing to note is stance angle, with Phantoms the max angle is 30 degrees so I change from riding 47/43 to riding 30/30. It took a little getting used to but overall I like it now for all mountain performance. http://www.phantomsnow.com http://www.backcountry.com/scarpa-spirit-alpine-touring-boot?s=a http://whistler-creekside.com
  2. I agree Whistler is the spot but go in March or April by then the weather has improved and you will enjoy sunshine and powder. If you want a quiter scene choose Whistler Creekside area, oh and Whistler right now is a great value with the exchange rate I was just there last weekend. If you want perfect grooming, perfect snow and lot's of sunshine choose Sun Valley. SV is best JAN-FEB. Skip The Big Whiteout and go to Silverstar if you are headed that direction. Have fun!
  3. Lower prices. Bindings now $240, boots $215.

Original liners never used on-hill, the right liner I tried on for about 5 minutes on carpet then I had Thermo liners modeled for the boots. Very light wear showing on boots some of the branding stickers are missing. The main point of wear is on the right replaceable heel piece /where I tend to use it to kick the snow off the board. Everthing works and is very nice to ride. Size on the shell reads 278/299mm. $250 +shipping. Pay-Pal billing and payment. Let me know if you have any questions, I can send additional pictures if you need. Thanks Jeff
