  1. I have a lightly used 2013/2014 Donek REV 185 for sale. Titanal with PTex top sheet. Fresh GS grind pattern with 1 and 3 degree edge bevels was put on last fall, followed by hot box with Toko Base prep wax that is still on it. Base and edges are clean. 4x4 and UPM inserts. I bought it as part of a used pair with a matching 165, and only used the 165. Looking for $500.
  2. ITEM SOLD. Payment for them was already sent. Sorry Mike.
  3. Hi Everybody I am selling a 2010/2011 Burton Whammy Bar 150 Freestyle/ Park board for $175 + Shipping. Board was not used for box or rail riding- NO BASE OR EDGE DAMAGE AT ALL. Topsheet condition is like new. I used the board about 10 times teaching Intro to Snowboard lessons at a Burton Learn To Ride center I managed in NH that winter. Board is rockered with soft flex and "spooned" upturned edges on tip and tail along with "mid-spoon" on edges between bindings. Excellent board for newer park/rail rider. Board will require either Burton 3D Disc or EST Bindings. Board includes adapter discs for 3D bindings to be used with the EST Channel System on Board. $175 + Shipping. I do not have a Pay Pal account, so Certified Check is preferred.

I Have it listed in the For Sale forum under "184 Coiler PureRace-$300 Shipped". There are a couple of photos there, and I can send more if you are interested. I would also be willing to sell it to you for $250 shipped. Call it an attempt to instill some good karma in my life. : )

I have a 184 Coiler with the WCC construction that I have listed for $300 with shipping. What are you looking to spend?
  9. It really bums me out that most of the posts here turn into pissing contests about whose style of riding is better than the other when it comes to carving and riding a snowboard. It also strikes me as very odd how competitive alot of people are on this post. Why are people so worried about proving that they are better or can one-up someone they have never met or ridden with? Why would you care or take offense if someone says that they are a damn good snowboarder? There are good soft boot riders that can carve, and there are quite a few that turn heads on the chairlift. That doesn't mean that they do it better than guys with plates and hardboots. A very smart man once told me "show me someone arguing with an idiot, and I'll show you two idiots". The soft vs. hard bashing is the same as carvers vs. racers. Why can't we all just get along? P.S. The clothing rule for BoarderCross was originally instituted for safety. The idea was that G.S. suits provided little protection in rider-on-rider collisions, and slightly baggy clothing offered more. It is a similar reason as to why race suits for FIS and Olympic ski racing have to have a minimum porosity (ability for air to flow through). They found that the suits that allowed no air to pass through caused skiers to accelerate in crashes when the suits were in contact with the snow. Now, even the braces they wear under their suits have to be porous and pass inspections in order to be used in races. The suits actually get a small tag attached to prove that it passed tech spec.
  10. I'll take the Palmer if it is still available if you can do it for $60 shipped to me in NH (03275).
  11. Up for sale is one Coiler 184 PureRace. The top sheet is in good shape, and the base is in very good shape. There are a few scratches in the base but nothing deep and no edge damage. Freshly structured and waxed it is ready to ride. The numbers are - WCC 184 PRW 0406 6.8. $300 with shipping to lower 48 included!
  12. Hi B-2 Thanks. I just got a set, and the bindings are now good to go for my racer.
  13. I'm regular footed, and it was the back (right) foot. Have a great season!
  14. Come on, guys..... No need to argue over a broken binding. I know I'm not a structural engineer. My binding broke when it had the plastic disc. I'm sure that in the right conditions, one disc can cause the binding to fail when the other wouldn't (plastic vs. metal). In this case, it looks like the disc itself failed. The partial disc caused a stress riser on a smaller area and caused the baseplate to crack. My guess is that in most situations, it is the disc that is more likely to fail and cause damage than the substantially stronger baseplate. THAT IS ONLY A GUESS! Without a lab and testing, all of our ideas are correlational, not cause and effect. It always amazes me that there is so much arguing on this site. There are so few alpine snowboarders, and we spend most of our time arguing like 12 years playing Dungeons & Dragons instead of trying to hook up with the girl. Put your experience out there, but don't present it as the end all or be all. Anyone who has been riding alpine for 10+ years can remember how backwards our equipment and "perfect" technique was. Make friends and ride. Thats what all of this should be about. There are a few too many opinions stated as facts on both sides. Best advice? Run a Bomber binding that is highly unlikely to fail. That's what I did! Also, have fun and don't take all of this so serious.
  15. I was using the plastic discs when it happened. Bad scene- I would recommend running the metal ones if you can. I had been using the metal ones for a while with no problems. Then I swapped hole patterns (3 hole to 4 hole) and had to run plastic.
  16. It came apart on a toe side turn and got very interesting real quick. One second I was driving a turn, the next second my right foot was off the board.
  17. Hi Steve I sent a PM to you earlier. Let me know if it went through. Jeff
  18. Thanks for the super quick reply. Here is a photo. I'm sure I have ridden with him, but can't place the last name.
  19. Hi all. I was hoping that someone might have an Ibex or Burton base plate kicking around in their unused parts. I broke the plastic piece that fits inside of the metal baseplate frame that the disc sits on. Only need one. I coach the alpine snowboard team at Loon Mtn in NH, and was hoping to get the binding back together for one of my racers to use. Any help would be great.
