1. Hi,

I just signed up for SES. I am a female intermediate rider, 42 years old and 5'5. If possible I would LOVE to see a smaller board. I am recovering from spinal surgery 1/28/09 and am not comfortable on a big board as of yet. Current ride 147 and 152 lengths. Would be willing to try up to 158. Pretty please:):1luvu:

2. I ride Scarpa's, model called magic and I swear these are the best and most comfortable boots I have ever rode in. I can ride all day long with ZERO foot pain! This is the women's model. They make a mens model, but I am not sure what its called.

An all new shell in the superior Magic boot by Scarpa that was manufactured specifically for women's feet. It's a classic blend of lightweight and downhill performance for alpine touring boots. Versatile enough that you'll still rip. There's no problem with temperature change as the PeBax shell, cuff and tongue won't change shape or malleability when it gets really cold or the sun heats things up. Compatible with all alpine touring bindings, including Dynafit.

• Moldable liner that is perfect for all foot types. The custom fit maximized edge control and performance. Overlap closure accommodates all calf sizes. Warmer and lighter than standard liners and dry quickly.
• Ski/Walk mechanism is easy to engage and provides maximum touring flex
• Two forward lean settings available-17 and 21 degrees
• Sole: Touring Scarpa/Vibram

3. Hi,

There is a TON of POW! Sunday will be EPIC! I had to pull my plates off and mount them on a large freestyle board. Tried out the GNU rocker today, rides powder great, sux for groom. We couldn't get the stance far enough back on tail so I have switched to a Rome 158. I hope that works well tomorrow as I don't want to ride my soft boots as I can't ride as long (due to spinal surgery).

Might try June mid week.

4. Hi,

I am new to this site and message board. I have noticed a few individuals I have seen carving at June. I had the opportunity to ride with Terry a couple of times. I actually stop riding just so I can watch him. Amazing!!!

Anyways I live in So Cal and stay in Mammoth part-time. I am up here for the big dump! I will likely be up here for a couple of weeks and am generally at June on most Saturdays. If anyone is around drop me a line.

PS - If there are any female carvers in the area please drop me a line!
