Je ne peux pas croire qu'on se soit manqué, avec le peu de monde qu'il y avait. Surtout si t'avais ton "Lafontaine" avec toi.
L'autre gars avait pas ta shape, donc j'étais pas mal certain que ce n'était pas toi. Mauvaise synchro. Va falloir reprendre ça certain un de ces quatre.
Comme ça, t'as pas aimé les conditions mouillées ? ;)
Je commençais à être trempe à 10h30 ... j'imagine à 13h00 !

J'étais sur place de 9h30 à 11h30, je ne t'ai pas vu. 1 seul autre gars en bottes dures, manteau foncé. Vu de la chaise.
Y'avait pas grand monde.
J'ai failli pas descendre quand j'ai vu que le versant du lac était fermé.
Ça fondu pas mal depuis mercredi, malgré la neige (mouillée) qui commencait à tomber vers 10h00.
Si jamais tu y retournes avant le 10, lâche un whack.

Les conditions étaient excellentes mardi-mercredi. C'est resté beau jusqu'à midi au moins.
Pas mal d'achalandage sur le versant du village (10-15 minutes). Pluie prévue pour demain, mais seulement en PM.

Qu'est-ce que ça disait du côté de l'achalandage ? Les passes vertes tombaient bleues aujourd'hui ... On va peut-être en profiter demain.

Non, malheureusement. Je suis arrivé en arrière de toi dans la chaise sur le versant du lac, un peu après l'ouverture. Pas eu le temps de jaser :rolleyes:

Les conditions étaient bonnes oui. La semaine au complet a été parfaite avec la neige de mardi et de la nuit dernière.

Very clean Donek Nyberg Ax 182 cm, lots of camber left, in need of a new owner.
Bought this board in april 2010 from Mr. BlueB.
I have put about 12 hours on it since I got it. Unfortunetly, I have to let this one go.
This beauty has a 12m sidecut and 21.6 waist. Needs an edges tune-up. Small purpleish discoloration near the front holes, but still good lookin'. It has "adrenaline" written all over it.
Would be able to bring the board directly to you, if buyer is local (MTL-QC).
Asking 300.00 $ CAD + shipping if not local.

Hey Tom,
Good choice for the LY Evo, but the wheels are too soft to start sliding, like KC said. Althought it can be done with softer wheels (the more used the better), it would be easier with some 84a+ at the speed you're going.
Cause this is the other factor ... speed. You have to reach enough speed to be able to slide and not carve, especially with the kind of width you're dealing with on this terrain. Gotta quickly push that Evo ! So don't practice on the flat. You need some moderate hill at least or kick that baby !
And watch for the sand or other slippery stuff (I think it helped a bit in the last bail)! It can transform a perfectly balance and controlled slide into a nightmare.
I'd also suggest investing in some knees pads if you're really getting into sliding :)

Finally got the well packaged drop !
You just made it faster for me to install a set of double-barrel on it and take it for a go. Nice ! Behaves pretty much as expected.
If you ever decide to let go the "fiber sister" ... let me know.

Oui, c'était bien ! Clear blue sky, pas de trop de monde (malgré le congé), conditions superbes de 8:15 à midi. Manquait juste de la compagnie !
Assez de neige pour poursuivre le weekend prochain, mais pas assez de monde pour justifier de repousser la saison. De plus, les préparations pour les trails de MTB sont commencées, ouverture prévue le 9 mai prochain.
J'ai manqué de batteries dans mon appareil, mais j'ai quand même ces deux là. First one in line ... ready to shred.
Si ca te tentes d'en faire une dernière à St-Anne d'ici le 26 Bullet, fais moi signe. Je sers pas le matos tout de suite ...
