Sounds great. Even with the "soft" tongues, I'd say the UPZs are pretty stiff. Super-responsive might be a better term, though! I felt that they had an even flex and a great wrap, so I didn't expect much shin bang. Laterally, I think they are very stiff. I thought the Palau liners complemented them quite well. Literally, in the shop it was the best fitting boot/liner/footbed (custom cork) combination I have ever experienced across either snowboard or ski boots. I was so thrilled about these that I even considered getting the different toe and heel pieces to use them as ski boots. I REALLY would have loved it if I could keep riding in these boots. Regardless of the boots however, the forces on my feet and lower legs are just so dramatically different in snowboarding vs. skiing. I feel like I tried everything, but I just couldn't get the same amount of performance out of my hardboots as I could my ski boots without experiencing such discomfort. I wish it could have worked out because I love this sport, but I just couldn't get it out of my mind that I could be going faster, carving hard, and having fun all over the mountain on my skis without the pain I'm experiencing in this sport. I'm glad it's working out for you all, though. I have a ton of respect for all the great riders on this forum. Just wish I could have hung with you in hardboots. Sorry. Yep! Both liners are still available. The liners are quite different from one another. The Intuition was designed for ski racing boots. They are quite thin and pretty stiff. When I had them in the Head boots, I was wishing that my shell was the next size down. The low volume of this liner just doesn't fill up the boot like a standard liner. So I would think these would work well if you had downsized your shell and want race-like fit and responsiveness. But if you already feel like your Raichle liner is too roomy, then the Palau will probably do the trick. It is much thicker and very soft and comfortable. Bola also recommended downsizing them, so they will provide a pretty close fit. Just in the past couple days, I thought about trying them in my ski boots, but I would still be happy to sell them if you're interested. Let me know. Oh, and you mentioned you would have been interested in the Stratos Pros. I also still have the UPZ Limited boots for sale. These are touch wider in the forefoot than the Stratos Pros, but the length was about the same. Wish they worked for me. My bootfitter said that once they have been ridden for a few days, the guys swear by them. I probably should have given them a chance, but I've been having better days on my skis than my boards, so it's a bi-plank fest for me. Let me know if you have any questions about these as well. Hi Disco, Well, we're at a disadvantage here without you being able to try them on. I also apologize; I just now noticed I had 25.5 MP in the title of the post (which has now been edited). The correct size, as originally stated in the post, is a 25.0. Now regarding the fit, are you looking for something that's more close-fitting than your Raichles? Like I mentioned, I'm a 25.5, and these 25.0's fit me well. I know some of the folks here generally choose a size smaller than they measure, and since these run big, perhaps they would fit you. But that depends on what kind of fit you are looking for. Calling all UPZ riders: Anyone out there with a 26.0 MP foot who's riding a 25.0? Keith

Hey, DjulezD. They are a US men's 7, so they're more like a 25 - 25.5 MP. The exterior length is about 26.0 cm. Due to their thin construction, I felt like I had a lot of room inside my 25.5 MP boot (perhaps too much). I don't think these would work well in a shell bigger than that. Hope that helps. If you measure at 26.5 MP, then I would assume these would be too small for you, unless you're looking for a really close fitting shell. What boots are you currently riding? How do they fit?

The shells are 25.0 MP. They also run just a bit narrower than the UPZs. Thanks, Keith
