I run my blackberry (with a 4gb SDmicro card) into my smith helmet via the skullcandy built-in headphones. Play music with the media center, and take calls on the chairlift to pretend like i'm at work, email my assistant, then back to music again. It also has a large pause button on the cord i can hit through my shell if i need to talk to someone. I couldn't tell you how many songs/albums I have on it, but I rode out west for 9 days last year without making hearing the same thing twice.

9/10 times i'll have a soundtrack going. Got a helmet with built-in headphones I linked up to my BB and love it. I do turn it off once i get into the lift line unless there's nobody there but the liftie. I wont have it on if i'm riding a cat or otherwise backcountry so i can communicate with whomever i'm riding with in terms of 'watch out for that cliff' or 'i'm stuck in a treewell' etc.
Still... early ON mornings before the lifts start, stretching on the corduroy listening to Stevie's Innervisions has practically become a religion for me...

ditto and ditto.
i had a set of ion HD's for last few years, but they're beyond dead at this point and am in need of a stiff boot for big mountain riding...
looking at malamutes, driver-x etc... but any recommendations would be awesome.

I've been to massif twice now, but havent taken my race board - that said it was awesome riding on my 167 canyon and the 172 prior . The runs got a little narrow at points but this was more of a crowding problem than a turning-off-the-run problem. less icy than the tremblant/st annes.
