  1. So sorry to hear that Brian! I can only imagine your frustration:angryfire, but if there is anyone that can get through this, its you. I had a similar break in my back as well, even had to wear a brace just like that. It's great that you are already on your feet with a compression fracture, thats very promising! I wish you the best and a speedy recovery,

  2. Sorry it took me so long guys. These people in events and hospitality are ssssllllooowwww. :angryfire

So I got a group rate with the Riverhouse for $79.00 a night. For March reservations thats a $15-$20 savings a night :biggthump. Its not official yet, but the agreement forms are in the mail as we speak.

For all those that still need to make reservations I will post as soon as it is official so you can get the OES rate.

For all of those that have already made reservations, please email me and I will make sure you have the OES rate. My email is as follows: quentinransone@mac.com

  3. you want this info on this thread Quentin? Or we emailing you or PM'ing you this?

hi btw G-unit! can't wait to ride with you again buddy! miss ya! First grilled cheese and IPA pitcher is on me :)

FURI CAT!!!!!LOL......Likewise. I can't wait to see you guys.

It doesn't matter. I guess if we post here for all to see we can all get a consensus, but whatever people want to do is fine.

    Randy T.,

That actually might work perfect. I am currently talking to the director of hospitality for Riverhouse and they are a top contender. Some hotels are more desperate than others. If we decide on them I will make sure you get the OES discounted rate. I just need to work out the logistics. I should know more tomorrow.

  4. Hello fellow carvers!!!

So I am contacting all the local Bend hotels and resorts to try to find the best deals possible. Bottom line is if we can get enough people to stay at 1 resort or hotel, we will all save allot of dough. We would also have a hell of allot of fun staying in the same place, instead of being scattered all over Bend.

Being this is a yearly event, I strongly believe we should build a close relationship with a nice affordable hotel or resort so we can spend less money on rooms and more on Bruce's lovely boards:ices_ange.

Another plus is, I for one have an suv with allot of extra room for both people and gear, which would allow people not have to rent a car. And I am sure there will be more people with transportation that can carpool as well. Also, most of these Hotels have shuttles to the mountain or to the Bachelor bus that takes you to the mountain.

Come on people, if we can fill 15+ rooms at a single Resort or hotel we all would save $20+ dollars a night, plus being compted a convention room for one night (PARTY!!!:eplus2:).

So this is what I need to know from everyone:

    -Who's in

    -What is your price range

-Would you like your own room or would you like to share a room.

Can't wait to hear from everyone,

    Quentin

  5. You mean you won't be there? What the hell man!!!!

Isn't your throat feeling a little scratchy? Yeah.....I think you might need to take a sick day on Friday.

Well, as long as I can ride with the Tree Ninja, Don and Etsu I guess I will be okay. :1luvu:I am a little rusty though, so you all might need to ride a little slow for me. This will be my 1st day back since OES!!! I can't wait to see everyone,

  6. I would recommend the Coiler AM-t as well. Last year was my 1st season on hard plates and I was lucky enough to find some pretty amazing people who let me demo there boards. I tried all 3 and the AM-T was amazing. I t will also tear through the east coast ice. I would also check the old postings from last years East Coast Expression Session. It seemed those guys were all blown away with how the Coilers performed. Bottom line though is that they are all great boards. If you are near Bachelor, you are more than welcome to try my board. Good luck ,

  7. For $325.00, the orange Coiler (A.K.A. Charlie Brown) is a sweet deal. I go back with Charlie, he was very good to me. Whoever buys Charlie is responsible for yearly updates, make sure he is happy, showing kindness, and taking the time to truly give him the care and attention that he so greatly deservers. I will miss you charlie:(

Mike, let me know when he sells and we can have a going away party. Give him a proper farewell:biggthump

  8. Congratulations Kimo,

I am sure it was a beautiful wedding. I had such a good time with you at SES. Nice cold drinks.. in a nice hot tub... after many epic days of carving...with good company in Aspen.. Priceless. All of my hopes and prayers are with you. I look forward to seeing you next year at SES,
