    Picked up my Coiler last night.   Just a regular Contra 😅  170 x 19 x 11.5m

Pretty pumped my workplace is funding a bunch of the cost - fitness related expense  😎

Also, picked up a couple vintage Burtons on same trip.   I learned to ride hardboots on an M6.  Always wanted another asym and found a 1995 Alp 64.  I think this was the last year they made freecarve asyms from what I can gather.  Factory Primes came in asym models for a couple more years I think.

My very 1st board was a asym air! I absolutely loved that board! Very similar to yours but red. I would give anything to ride one again! Paired with the classic 3 strap Burton bindings made it a beast! Sadly, I smashed it into a hidden rock riding backcountry in Durango CO 😡

    Stupid rock!!

    That Moss sure is purty.

Thanks- unfortunately, I won’t be able to ride it until next season. Broke my right fibula and recently had surgery. Royally sucks!! But hey… I can hang it on the wall until then 🙂

The Alpine 168--I think I'll take it!  I just broke the binding on the antique carving board I've been using since the early nineties, and anyway I've been looking to upgrade to something from this century for a while now.

Given the new era of lousy snow we seem to be in, I was looking at things like the Coiler Contra or the Kessler Spectra (is it even hardboot appropriate?) based on manufacturers claims.  But it seems like it's hard to go wrong starting the new quiver with a 168.  Me want!

Eastsiiiide- you are making a great choice here- This is a phenomenal board able to handle most conditions with forgiveness! I purchased one last year and absolutely love it! Icing on the cake…this is a ridiculous deal!

Just in case you thought this fell on deaf ears......

If I had a Contra made, I would want it to be the All Terrain version for crappy conditions and made out of T3 to be more forgiving 😉 Just saying ... if ...

Hilarious- love that you got this Daveo! Definitely miss my Seinfeld!

  7. Hi everyone- finally found this forum! I was a regular back in the BOL days! Coming back from years of injuries-Long story short-I need some help here. For the first time in my life I will have to buy new boots on-line as all my local shops are wiped out! What is the best stiff boot for a narrow foot? Currently my foot measures 28.5/AA with 29 arch length.

I was trying to look for insanos as I’ve heard good things, but not sure if they are good for a narrow foot. My setup will be the Union Atlas FC bindings and BV is currently building a new Contra BXFR for me if this helps. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
