  1. How often are snow tires/chains required of passenger vehicles?

I'll be in Colorado late October and want to get to the slopes as soon as possible, wonder if it's required to have snow tires. I'm no stranger to driving in snow (all seasons).

As far as how often? I'd say that October is hit or miss, but if your driving in the mountains, and snow is down or the roads are getting slick, you at least want to have M+S rated tires.

  2. If any one on the forum knows or is friends with Cliff Hans (CliffH) on the forum, could you please ask him to contact me immediately. After selling this 4 pak to him and delivering it 4 months ago, he is now disputing the charge with Paypal.

Thanks all, hope your having a good summer.

  3. I barely remember walking in to the restaurant where my wife was waiting and we immediately went back to the hotel room, where she watched me closely, while I nursed a pounding headache for 2 days. We made it home last night and the headache has now gone, but the ears are still ringing, the memory is spotty and I'm bruised and bumped all over. Bottom line? I'm here to relate this story, thanks to my new helmet, my wife bought me over the summer. I haven't felt like inspecting it yet, but I know it must have taken quite a smack, so it will likely be replaced.

Hope to see all the LCI again soon!

Buy a helmet and wear it!

Dude, just a little piece of advice, go to a doctor and get checked for a concussion.

  4. Do the rear boot mods + BTS make the flex that much better?

    It did for me.

Should I just hack away and see what can be done to improve the flex?

That's for you to decide. You should take comfort that other people have already been down the path and there are plenty of links on how to do the modifications.

  5. Was this board built for you... if so how much do you weight?

Purchased off the shelf from Bomber. I spoke to Sean at Donek beforehand and he recommended the 172 length for me at 190 lbs. Sean could probably tell you the recommended weight range for this model if it isn't on his site.

  7. Good luck with that one Seraph, he's coming into the season stronger than the past few so I can only imagine how large the trenches will be this season. Maybe loveland can open a bobsled course after one of Bigs' runs.

The problem is that he uses the whole damn run......back and forth, back and forth...so freakin selfish. He should be limited to one side. Not on zee left side, not on zee right side, but down zee middle!
