  1. I know very little about them. Also, I live in Moscow, Russia - they don't sell them here.
  2. My Kessler got stolen last weekend. I need something fast - can't wait till the end of the season to get another custom kessler. SG seems to have the best stock boards.
  3. Why do you think Kessler is better? It's not easy to buy real Kessler these days - they produce their great Swiss hand made boards only for athletes. Mass market boards that you see in shops are being produced at F2 factory in Austria and I heard they are not nearly as good as original Kesslers. SG seems to be softer than Kessler, which I like. That's why I prefer my Oxess over Viruses for example. Anybody had experience with different sg boards?
  4. I'm thinking about buying SG slalom board over this weekend. Anyone tried both Full Carve and Full Race boards? I'm curious to learn about their differences on the slope. I have more than 10 years on snowboard and more than 5 years with hardboots, but mainly with narrow boards. I've got pretty good with my favorite Oxess XX 185 and recently I've decided to start racing - don't want to stop learning and want to progress further with different snowboarding skills. I'm looking to participate in amateur racing cups and use it for fun freecarve. I'm 185 cm, 78 kg. SG website says "Alpine extreme carve and freeride board for easy and quick racing" about Full Carve. It seems that it's what I need. But isn't it just a marketing trick to sell cheap non-metal boards to those who can't afford Race Pro?! They never tell "it's cheaper version of ... and it performs worse" in marketing... What do you think? Budget is not an issue for me - I just want to have the best board possible for what I'm going to do. Thanks in advance for yor advice!
  5. I'm selling this board on ebay and it will gone in one day: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150309140697&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DSelling Board is in good condition with only minor scratches. Good choice for hard boot beginners - I used this board for 2 years to learn carving.

  7. Guys, I already added board to eBay and don't know how to remove it from the list nor how to add "buy it now" option. If you are interested you can bid and I hope you'll get it. I'm sorry for impatience. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/Rossignol-X-Race-VAS-176-alpine-snowboard_W0QQitemZ150309140697QQcmdZViewItemQQptZSnowboarding?hash=item150309140697&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 Thanks! Ilya
  8. Here are photos. I had this board for two years. As I said, the board is in good condition: a couple of small scratches, but nothing serious. This snowboard is good to learn how to carve and race. I also found it to be a little bit stiff for my weight (67kg). Let me know if you need more info. Cheers, Ilya
  9. In good condition, $70. The board is great. However, I recently got my Prior WRC Metal and don't use it any more. Moreover, soon I will leave US and I don't want to pay for overweight :)
  10. Most European carvers prefer Soelden. Some go to Hintertux.
  11. What is CODINGTONS? I tried to google "CODINGTONS ski resort" and got zero results. I think about going to Colorado. By the ways, alpinecarving.com also recommends Vail. Is it good in that time? What do you think about Salt Lake City? Thanks to everyone again! Ilya
  12. Guys, which ski resort would you recommend for carving during the first week of April? I'm an international student at Stanford, so I visited only Tahoe in US and I don't know much about good US ski resorts. And it seems it's going to be too warm in Tahoe in April... I've just bough a Prior WRC Metal and now I need to find good mountains for my baby! Thanks in advance for help! Ilya
  13. Guys, I want to take a couple of hardboot carving lessons in Tahoe this weekend. Can you help me in finding good instructors? Thanks in advance! Ilya
