  1. I have Raichle SB 423s. Carvers almanac has some reccomendations on springs. They say SBs are softer so to go with the yellow springs. I want to upgrade my boots, any one have any experiece with the BTS? Will blue and red be too stiff? Are these better than the stock lean adjusters? Any one use boosters too?

  2. Anyone ever make or buy plastic or rubber disks for TD1s to protect the top sheet of the board? Since its metal directly on the topsheet, there must be some way to protect your board. Just looking for any ideas. I'm thinking I can make my own, but I was worried about the thickness and material because of the distance the mounting screws have to go into the board and changing temps. Don't want to ruin my board.

  3. I ride in the northeast, NH. So as you can imagine, conditions are pretty much a mixed bag. Primarily "groomed/firm", some may say icy, and softer stuff early and late in the season. I don't intentionally go off piste, so I'd want a board that I can ride all over, and carve turns, and not worry about changing conditions. One board for it all... After a little research, there's not much difference "$$$" from a custom, than an off the rack board.

  4. All three top allmtn boards are produced at 169-174cm, with effective edges of 142-148, and waists of ~21.5. I've got a lot of good info from this forum and site and I'm convinced there are no bad just better, and each company suits a certain riders needs and riding styles, so just find one you like. I am 6-2 210lbs. Are these the boards I should be looking at? I don't want a "beast" and I also don't want a "shorty" I just want something suitable.

  5. Looking for an all mtn 168-174, or something similar (maybe BX, Carve, or GS) That would be good for an intermediate rider in NE conditions. The boards was great, I'd be keeping it if it were a 168.

  6. Thought this would be the best place to get some input. Does anyone have recommendations on an all mtn? I know Coiler's are probably tops, but I'm not looking to break the bank just yet and wanted somthing asap. Prior has the 4x4 and ATV and Donek has the Axis. Plus anything discontinued anyone knows about. I'm just looking for something I can ride in northeast conditions, NH to be exact. Plus I'm over 6ft and 200lbs. Thanks, any advice is appreciated.
