  1. I actually think the "BJ style/turn" looks more fluid (where did that term/name come from by the way?). I like things in carving to be simple...there's already so much to think about (at least where I ride where ice is common) so it's refreshing to see such a style broken down to basic inclination and rotation...I'd call that a form of technique for sure :D

    Hi Hilux

B.J style is means " riders initial " he first started the korea ec style riding name is B.J style.

Original ec is Switzerland turn by J & P(swoard team). BJ style is part of ec-riding technique.

B.J turn is changed the some ec technique(rotation).

easy and simple technique for ec ... we only rotation.

no push pull, down press, up carving, angulated edge, B.J is nature style carving, nature edge, nature speed, nature press... more long carving time.

So now many korea EC rider enjoy the B.J style. also we like Origonal Switzerland turn

Thank you for your interest our riding style.

  2. Very nice...interested ex-technique! I suppose there are many ways to lay it out :biggthump Quite different then the crouch, lean back, rotate-tilt-angulate, push-out, center, and repeat technique I've been watching from the european folks. This seems to be different in that you are inclinating a lot more right from the beginning of the turn and the idea is to "stand" tall ie extend legs right at turn initiation. Looks like good snow conditions, consistent pitch, and wide runs would be helpful in going full out. Thanks for posting!

    hi Hilux

yes that is korea style ec.... we are not use push-pull technique. we called that the style is "B.J TURN" rotate is everything of korea ec style(b.j style).

"BJ turn" is very easy and simple technique for ec riding. only rotation :) no technique

    happy riding with ec....
