  1. that is why I posted

Have you ever done business with them? Seriously, that comment just pisses me off.

Um, why not? I've lost elastomer plates, screws, etc, and Scott and Jeff have always sent me a replacement asap.

Shoot them an email and you'll have a new one in no time.

did that took a month to get parts and on top of that they only sent half of what was needed.

as a side note I love the bindings.

and well only buy from them in the off season.

  2. trying to get what I have gotten with hardboots.

I ride an all mountain board with binding set as far back as they go.

    Catek OS2 and deeluxe 225.

I ride all over. Powder, groomers, ice, steeps and inbetween the trees.

I ride where ever I can go.

Soft boots with the thrid strap and Catek freeride bindings did nothing for me. In my opinion waste of money and time.

If you are tying to ride like you are in hardboots ride in hardboots.

If you want softboots then you are going to ride like you are in softboots.

  3. b0ardski - Defining style is like grabbing a handful of water and expecting to hold onto it. Nice I like that.

surfers can carve, but carvers can't surf? - I know surfer who can't surf, but they look like they can rip.

carvers surfing that's what I am looking for. icon10.gif

  4. all those pictures and videos just look like they know how to carve a snowboard with style.

I know its not surfing snow, cause I surfed the major part of my life.

Floating through powder does not feel the same as surfing a wave.

Surfing a wave does not feel the same as floating through powder.

Making a hard laid out turn does feel close to a bottom turn on a big wave.

Just trying to figure out what is meant by surf style versus other styles of carving.

  5. I can make that one and will be at this one-

    Schweitzer Mountain - January 29th, 2010

first day was a bust. youngest got to top of the beginer run, saw sister and older bother blast on by and said he wanted to ski. refused to try snowboarding. Good thing will bought some used skiis for him.

49 north has opened up the angel peak. right now you have to hike it.

When I get a chance to climb up there I will give a report.

they have a couple of good runs for carving but the chair lift back up takes sooo long. I mostly ride over on chair 4.
