I'll see what I can do. Might go the other way with it thought and go all bright pink just to piss people off. Thanks for the advice on my "pretty" snowboard boots.

Nice! I was deeply considering that so I wouldn't get beat up for my lunch money on the mtn. Did you sand them down first then spray paint or just spray paint? Please tell me as I cherish my mtn. pizza and fries.

Due to budget I have used Technica Icons the past 4 years. I had no problem but haven't had the budget to try any board boots. This year I scraped together what I could and bought those awesome flourescent boots you see in my icon . Ski boots worked fine for me, I had fun on them, and still had people on the lifts eyeing my trenches. After joining this board, I decided to try out snowboard boots mainly because all of the negative feedback about ski boots. This many people can't all be wrong.

How do I get hooked up with that job? Where do I send my resume' ?

Looks great Pat. Congrats on your new jobs out of the office. I hope to be right where you are someday, on the mtns., and working out of my home.

I wish I could, but pretty dirt poor at the moment. $2200/month rent in Brooklyn is taking a serious toll. Can I keep you in mind?

Man I still want one, forget what other people say, I'll ride dated gear!;)

Thats what I'm talking about, look at that appeal!

When I was 14 or something, I had an older friend who raced at a competing mountain. Only difference was I was a skier and he was an alpine dude. Anyway, he had a Mistral Sonic and until this day I think about how awesome that board was. I knew nothing about it but as any kid would do, it looked sweet so I wanted it. I was dissapointed when I found out they had been bought up. I really wanted my childhood dream deck! Now for the question, were they any good or was I just a wide eyed kid?

Perfect, you beat me to it.

Sorry if that was misleading. I don't need the boots, bought an old pair last week just to get by. Don't need them just to have them. I just thought that was a nice gesture and thought I should comment.

Wow, thats mighty nice of you. I currently live in Brooklyn and work in Manhattan and I was convinced there weren't any nice people left in America...........and then you go and TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF!

Similar question, does the whole running length of the edge remain sharpened while just the not used nose is detuned? Should all effective edge be sharp?

Kind of a douche way to put it, especially trashing other peoples gear that don't put the majority of their income in to quiver but........either way, I was unsure about the topic until it was put straight. Much needed input.

Absolutely beautiful. That is a nice garage repertoire for sure.

First off, I am a big fan of Jap bikes, but fall victim to Italian engineering in every way.

I ski raced for 10 years before hardbooting and here's my opinion/observation. Learning to ski is pretty easy, skiing great and ripping turns like your on a hardboot deck takes some time. Nothing has given me almost instant gratification like hardbooting.

I know some of you care as I saw a few of you posting your bike pics. I am so excited I thought I would share it with you.

Not a huge sense of urgency here, as I won't be able to afford until next season, but I wanted to begin to commence the drooling. I have casually looked online to see if/where you could purchase Tinklers, but found nothing but pictures of happy owners. It's kind of hard to search all day as I would love to do, because the suits are on the prowl. Could anyone give me an idea so I could start counting my beans and rationing groceries?
Thanks

Good call, sorry wasn't paying attention. Disregard.

I agree, great article. Wasn't too dumbed down and very informative to hopefully get some more people/manufacturers involved.
P.S. I want one!
