  1. Thats awesome! I have dreamed of doing this as well but was worried it would be too flexy. I think they look great and the cool factor is there. Most of the longboards out there don't really have any visual appeal to me except the Lush longboards and some of the expensive slalom decks, so this idea definetly borrows some appeal from snowboarding making them more desirable. Good Job!

  2. Very nice looking bike my man, Kawasaki has some really nice lines now. I really like the direction they're going now. Here's my girl, I kind of picture her as a Monica Bellucci, or maybe a more butch chick that you still find oddly attractive. Whichever it is, I still can't ride her because I'm in the city and she's upstate. I envy your parking lot time.........A lot.

  3. When I lived in Orlando we used to hang out in the park on a picnic table with a flashlight looking for alligator eyes to float on by. All while drinking Steel Reserve one night (friend suggested it and said it gets you drunk quick) a gator definetly came out of the water to check us out. We ran like a bunch of school girls but the true meaning of the story is.........Steel Reserve?!?! Tastes like hot garbage, and leaves you with a horrible hangover. I'll stick with Hefeweizen.

  4. Has anyone seen these before? The reason for the review is their skate decks but if you scroll to the bottom there is two decks, one with soft-boot bindings? They never call it an alpine board though. Regardless, they look very sexy.

First link gives you a look at the boards and what their about.

  5. Here's my favorite part haha

"One conspiracy theory asserts that Burton colluded with Rossignol (who never figured out how to make an asymetrical snowboard because they are French) to kill off asymetrical snowboards in order streamline and cheapen production, so that it could be outsourced to less skilled laborers in Kazakhstan, the Dominican Republic, and Cleveland."

    Conspiracy theory? Kazakhstan? Cleveland?

    WTF?!?!

    Awesome, truly awesome writing. Kudos

  6. Glad everyone is ok and might be able to make it out again soon. That being said, no reason to hate on "skiers". There are plenty of self sufficient safe two plankers that are very capable on the mountain. Fact is that there are more skiers on the mountain and therefore chances are your accidents will more than likely include one. Another thing to consider is that the majority of snowboarders are too busy straightlining the 60 footer in the park to be on trails rideable by the general public. The only way to ensure your own safety is to look out for yourself on the mountain. No one else is going to do it. I agree, there are a LOT of stupid people out there and encourage you to use your own intelligence to ensure you don't become a meat gate for the Nastar hungry amateurs. So please stop trying to blame "the skiers" who I assure you are not TRYING to to ruin your day.

Note: Not trying to create an issue or a 13 page post, but more so point out a different take on the subject some might not have considered.

  7. Iceface is exactly right. Just for a fair bit of warning, I have a completely metal elbow internally due to their "thin cover" and 2X6 fences surrounding the trails. Good thing that fence slowed me down or else I would have flown much farther off the cliff through the other side of the fence. I have many friends who have also had injuries here. Be careful, its cursed! :eplus2:

  8. I was out at Stowe the other week first time on my FP from klug, with a unicant on it as well as it just started rotating mid-run. That and a few other issues put me back on soft boots. How did you fix the issue? Did I put it together wrong? I know I tightened more than enough. Any help would be awesome. Thanks
