I'm on about 20 or 30 various forums.Boarding comes up on occasion :)
-
I looked through my catalogs.
I'm mistaken. The little pic I saw and remembered was a normal board with a similar graphic.
So to take back what I said before.....
Ya got me swingin'

shouldnt boards be stored base facing ceiling on the rack to maintain camber
all depends on the board design.
Many of mine set 1/3rd in support with no load (weight) on them will sit quite nicely on my rack with no loss in "pop".
A few I do hang upside down with heavy bindings on them, or angle then (such as my bud-light board) with smaller rack so as to not weigh them in center with droop.

I'm a huge fan of Rozzi boards.
that is indeed 2005-06 board.... BUT,
Granted it is for the latter part of 2005 season, it is a 2005 board.
-
POW, yeah they are Rossignol boards from 1994-5 Twin tips.
I actualy ......um.. have TWO of um :D they are one of the sweetest rides I've owned.
I've had my 152 for about 12 years, and have well over 12,000 miles of ride time on it, and only this year has it become a bit too soft (as I've used it every day for 85 days as an instructor) !
I picked up a 162 (same board) last month on E-bay for 140.00 with shipping.
If your Shop has one, seriously, for 200.00, it is WORTH IT. a superb board.

Fastest I've ever done was 65 or so and that was cookin' lemme tell ya.... when the tears freeze on your face, you KNOW you are moving ! !

POW, I got in 85 days of snowboarding this winter starting on January second and I live in upstate NY. Jiminy peak was awesome all year except for like a week's worth of nasty weather. Just because there is no snow at your house doesn't mean it isn't elsewhere ;) I rode right up until April 1st.
HOW TO BEAT TEH SUMMER ANGST: I'm going to try and learn to Wakeboard behind powerboats. I figure it has to be similar to snowboarding, but more leaning back. I also play Golf, so it's all good :)

Pow, the Transition off the main trail of Westway to that hard righthandturn for your first carve is one of my fave drop lips to air up and over and down into the trail then to hit the flats between Upper and Lower Fox where it chircaines a bit to the left then right and is flat then drops again and bottoms out at Willies Gulch ( where if you take a hard right into the face of the hill with speed, you can get some massive air up over the trail merge ! ( be sure to look first to see if anyone is comming, or better yet, use a spotter ;) )
This year, Jericho and Wild Turkey had been my faves as well as Whirlaway and the terrain park (always some fresh cordoroy in there even later in the day to carve in).

SNOWBOARDFAST, if this board was not in such great shape and regular stance, I would have just been happy using it as a shelf.
Tex, those kind of bindings will fit it I believe.

I dont care for the newer style boots.
* have a few assorted pair, and they suck.
I'm just looking for the airwalks:)

I am a snowboard instructor at www.Jiminypeak.com .There are 4 carvers on this mountain regularly. I'm switching over to hardboot and will be teaching in such this comming winter and would be happy to sponsor some pass discounts for a Carver League, or Ryder meetups. There are 7 good runs there that are perfect for carving and getting agressive leans on the face of to the point that the feeling of deep carving can almost be replicated on a softboot snowboard set in an agressive stance. Season resumed November 1, 2006.
Hope to see some of you all soon :)
October 28th update:
THE SNOWGUNS ARE UP AND RUNNING ! not cold enough yet to make it, but they are set and ready !

I have a pair of 1994-5 Burton Custom Freeride bindings that have a tall high back and ankle/ shin strap on the HB. Base is grey/ metallic slate and field green cooshon/ insulation in the base. The toestrap and torsion strap are all one piece, but have seperate ladderstraps that clamp down.
I'm seeking more of these bindings for my own use. Large or XL size is needed.
I will post a pic as example.

I love riding in the 1994-2000 large toe design of the Airwalk Advantage boots as they are the most comfortable ones I have found for myself. They are Black and White with Orange soles. The logo AIRWALK is across the toe in rubber.
Size 12 is what I wear. Good condition boots will get a good price from me, beaters well, I have a pair with over 12,000 miles on them, and now they leak like a fishnet in spring, so I'm well aware of the problems with these boots :)

I have a 1982 Sims ACE 176 board that has the old style binding mounts that are not center plate mounted with the round disk like modern gear. I need a set of bindings for this board. Either soft boot or hard is fine. I will include a picture soon to show the screw alignments which are near the edges of the board and allow for 3 seperate setups. Thank you,
D.
My newest 2006-07 carve season ride: AIRWALK - Force 57

Posted
Well, I picked up my new ride for next season. It is a 2004 season Airwalk Force 57 ( 156 actual useable edge). Picked it up off of e-bay for less than 50.00 American.

Not quite sure how I feel about that as I wanted the R/B deck color.
450.00 board fer 50.00... meh, I can't complain :D
