  1. I just figured out the name of that ski... "hard animal" :D
    :lol: :p so funny!

    BTW I was very surprised to notice that last season in europe some people were still riding those monoski! As for me it was very fashionable just before the big "come out" of snowboards ( it was kindda late though ...in 93 it was already the begining of the end of alpine gear as I learnt);

    I guess at this time there wouldn't have been snowboards I might have tried one of those as I was a 'getting into being a bored' skier :sleep: ....BUT just the idea of doing monoski was painful for my knees, who knows why:cool:

  2. Thanks for your answers! Of course I'm also thinking about TD2 but with shipping and customs to europe or china; it's a bit expensive so I'm looking for other options before making a choice....

    dont discount the F2 Titanium (intec or standard) another "low profile" binding that is very solidly built. the titanflex has plenty of lift but it sounds like you dont want that.

    I have F2 race titanium already; they are ok but a bit 'soft', reason why I'm not willing to buy a second set for this other board I have; I prefer having something more 'radical' and I don't need very complicated set up;

  3. Hi Pow,

    I noticed in your profile that you own phiokka ph46; i'm thinking about buying those as ph1 seems elevated and I don't like those elevated central disks. It would be nice if you could give me a feedback on yours; maybe you've done it already on the forum? eventually for me it would be for an all mountain board.

    any comment from other carvers who owns ph46 is welcome of course!

    cheers

  4. I started hardbooting because I started snowboarding! Started snowboard because the snow was not good - I got bored skiing as my favourite black slopes were full of rocks and grass so I thought trying to learn something new on the blue slope would even better; then the choice of hardboots simply comes from the fact that at this time in Europe (94) or in this resort at least, they were still renting more HB than SB equipement...
