  1. Hey there fellow carvers!!!

It's been so long since the last time I was on the site and chatting with everyone. I'm pretty sure everyone is looking forward to winter and of course SES 2011.

Initially I was hoping to be able to come back to SES 2011 but I won't be back for a little while longer....I have a little carver on the way and he is scheduled to make his arrival on December 5th. Needless to say, I want to spend as much time as I can preparing him for his future days on the snow. I just wanted to pop in and say hey to everyone and to make sure you carve some arcs for me!

    Love ya!:1luvu:Carverchick

  2. Thanks Trent!

I hope I'll be able to get back into it next season. I'd like to come back to SES 2011, so we'll see what happens. I'll miss you guys too :(

the carving is going to suck for the next 8 or 9 months anyway. ;) get your client base built up, and you'll be good to go next season! :biggthump

    we'll miss you fe! :(

  3. :1luvu:Hey there fellow carvers,

I just wanted to let you know, I'm taking a hiatus from snowboarding for a while. I'm embarking on a new career in hairdressing and will probably not have as much time to get out and ride. Once things even out again, I will be back.

I'll miss you in the meantime and just remember to take some turns for the one and only carverchick!

Love you all and hope to return to regularly scheduled programs momentarily!

    Cheers

  4. This is just way too funny! It made me realize again, just how much fun I had this year. Hopefully next year (if school permits) I'll be able to come back. Otherwise, I'll see everyone for sure SES 2011.

P.S. Say a prayer for me, I'm having surgery next Wednesday.

    Love ya~

  5. Thank you everyone for the compliments. It has been quite an adventure to get to this point, but I do like how I look now and plan on looking this way until I croak.

I think initially the thing I grappled with the most of just being motivated enough to get started. Once I got over the hump, it became second nature for me to just workout.

I try to get 3-4 days a week and like Terry said, it doesn't matter what you do (for women) just do something. I often tell my girlfriends who has seen my tranformation happen to just get out and walk to start. Once you get used to just getting in the habit of getting some exercise, the rest is easy.

I also watch what I eat but still allow myself a "cheat date". Like everything else in life, moderation is key ;)

Now that the snowboarding season has come to an end for me, time to get geared up for both golfing and water-skiing season! Oh and I'm in training for two triathlons this year. I did one last year finished in 1 hour and 5 seconds, I need to beat that time this year :D
