  1. I'm goin' to be at the Loaf from Mar 23-25 and then on Mar 27- Mar 30 - how's the snow been?

Saw you there this weekend. I'm the guy with the Nidecker...Windy cold day but fun none the less.

  2. Yeah I was at the Loaf Sunday - Wednesday. Tuesday they shut it down so the wife and I took a break. She just got on her racedeck this year, and was trying out a more flexible board, which she liked alot. Monday and Wednesday were awesome days. Spillway turned out to be a great carving trail on Wednesday. we got a voucher for the lost day on Tuesday. Maybe we can make it back for Regae Fest.

  3. Hey Przemek, sorry to get off topic. I rode with you at Sugarloaf last year during the expression session. I think we spent most of the day on Gondi Line since it was pretty steep and not too much traffic on it. I had the Silver F2 Silberfeil. Good to see you are still in the area.

Okimo plainly suck. i never go there becouse is filed with kids and obviously flat, pluse you have to take bus from parking lot to get to the lift.

If you want to go to south vermont there are only two resorts that are somewhat ok: Stratton and Killington (avoid mount snow aka mount slow as well becouse it is even flater and more children fill then okimo, except two slow lifts on the backside)

Stratton is ok it has nice consistent medium steep terain, very good grooming but nothing is very steep.

Kilington is quite good we had real blast this past weekend

Kilington got over a foot of snow friday so sat wes mostly freeride in the forest, but sunday carving was just perfect no ice just hard pack.

They groom outher limits one of my favorite steep trails.

Also K was not too crowded.

A lot of carvers dont like big K but IMHO is the best carving mountain in South VT.

  4. Hey I was at Sugarloaf this week Sunday the 4th- Wednesday the 7th. I saw you skidad62 on the blue Coiler. I had the blue Nidecker Tornado and my wife had the Purple Generic. I was riding earlier in the week on my Silver F2. The mountain was shut down on tuesday, but Monday and Wednesday were perfectly awesome days. I also saw a Rentiger, with Beckman, and an Ultraprime. Good to see so many riders at the loaf:)

  5. Gondi Line was and awesome trail, can't wait to carve it again.:biggthump

Had a great time. Thanks to Jack and Todd for organizing; to Catek, Bomber, Madd, Donek, et al for the demos; and to Bob J for an impromptu clinic.

I'm sure it wasn't pretty, but attempting to carve Gondi Line is something I don't think I would have tried earlier.

  6. I had an awesome time and met some great riders. My legs were burned out at the end of the event, but that is a good thing. Hope to see you all on the mountain in the future.:D

  7. I had a lesson with the great Eric Beckman. He helped me setup my bindings and gave me insight on the physics of riding. Also rode with two other instructors, Don and Chad...very cool guys. Met a guy on a purple coiler, but I didn't catch his name. The snow was packed groomed powder and perfect for carving. Had an awesome time Friday-Monday. Can't wait for ECES.:D

  8. I was there today, but I didn't show up until 1:30PM. I saw about four carvers in a row from the chair lift. I rode till they shut down. Nice day, but way to warm...to much like spring, but makes for some nice trench digging. Maybe next time I'll catch up with you guys.

  9. I was there yesturday from 9:30AM to about 3PM...had to shed my jacket as it was near 60 degrees. Tried out my new F2 168 and like it alot...even in the slush...took me a while to get used to it. Once I adjust my angles some more I should be dialed.

  10. I hate to do it, but I picked up a new F2 board and have to let my Ultra Prime go to thin the flock. I got this from Burton brand new in 2001, and have ridden it on heavy snow days. Edges are clean and unscratched...base is perfect with a coat of wax...the topsheet only has marks where the bindings have been. The specs are as follows:

    Overall length: 1620 mm

    Waist: 197 mm

    Sidecut Radius: 11.21 m

I'm asking $200.00 US obo shipping included in the US.

I will ship international, but must charge the shipping fee.

  11. Well, I don't know if this would interest you, but being a short guy, my quiver tends to be on the short end of the spectrum! I ride in NH, mostly at Bretton Woods, and I tend to bring a few boards with me to the mountain.

    Let's see here, I have:

    Hot Shine 154

    Madd 158

    Volkl Renntiger 158SL

    Prior 4WD 159

    Donek FC-1 163

    Donek RC167GS

And Plus, there is a group of carvers that go up to Sunapee on Thursdays that are from the Greater Boston/North Shore/Metro West area. Great bunch of guys!

So if any of that interests you, drop me a line! And again...welcome!

That all sounds super interesting, but I can't get to the granite state on any Thursday. Maybe some weekend though.

oops. . .i am really powderprincess. I was logged in as my husband by accident.
