jbb Posted March 13, 2006 Report Share Posted March 13, 2006 Was there in July 03. Not a big mountain but a great place if you need a summer fix. Stayed in town just off the lake and had a 10 minute shuttle ride to mountain. Had a 3' dump while there, locals were not good skiers/boarders, so had mountain to ourselves (went with a group of 25). Alpine was none-existant. Locals party until 5 or 6 AM, so mountain empty until noon. Beef is king there.....monster filet cuts that are very cheap....however, liquor/wine is expensive....booze tab was higher than food every night.
