Gleb
my friend is actually looking into getting a virus sword. He has snowboarding experience but will be new to carving. If he is willing to spend the money, do you recommend that he does?
Steve Dold
Hi Gleb, I am a fairly inexperienced carver and can highly recommend the Swoard as a really easy to ride, all-around fun board, even for someone like me who has no clue on how to "Extreme Carve". I just cruise the mountain with it, and when I manage to link a few decent turns, the edge hold is there. I love this thing and wish it had been my first alpine board. kjl
I agree. I'm not really an extremecarver, but the board is pretty flexy, snappy, and generally fun to ride, and wide enough for low, newbie stance angles. On the other hand, it is a really, really expensive board for a new carver. Why not try the Donek Axis or the new Pilot (I think?)?
