skatha Posted December 14, 2005 Report Share Posted December 14, 2005 I fractured my talar dome in February, found out about it in Sept when I was diagnosed with osteonecrosis of the talus by MRI. I had the initial procedure to drill out the dead bone in Oct and felt well when I was allowed to start walking again mid-November. Then Sam was in his wreck and I've been on my feet pretty much the last 2 weeks, between working, caring for kids and spending as much time as possible in the ICU. Needless to say, my ankle hurts like H-E-double L. This injury is unique to snowboarders. Who has experience with this injury? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
