Everyone getting together for a free form session of good energy. Fin, Michelle and Sean (sorry don't know the others) working hard to give out good cheer and great vibes. I didn't get to talk to too many folks BUT the all around atmosphere was one of good spirit. I was riding softies and without plates felt a little awkward. Then, standing by the lift... I saw Joey Cabell (One of the Major Players In Surf History). I spoke to him very briefly and thought, "Wow... that was Joey Cabell!". He is one of the reasons I surf! Reasons??????? spirit. For every person who deviates from the norm. Makes a historical change and says "I DO THIS BECAUSE I WANT TO". That is the **** to me. I really think it is great to see the "spirit" of a thought stay pure. All the cool stuff we do today would be dead if some folks didn't say " I DO THIS BECAUSE I WANT TO".
